This place is a little ways from the tramway by walk and very conveniently placed. My friends and I took a walk here and it did not disappoint on the Italian aesthetic and the feel of being in an Italian pizzeria in Europe, not New York (when you’re on Roosevelt Island, it feels like a different world anyway.

A large margherita pizza was more than enough to fill us for the evening. I can’t explain more how much better it was to be on Roosevelt Island than the franticness of around Manhattan and to just experience the quietness of it all and eat in peace. Worth the trip out.

Really bad BBQ Chicken pizza. They advertise it as “chicken marinated in BBQ sauce”. We got a bland chicken pizza with some jelly-like-cheapest-bbq-sause-sweet-as-f@#$-you-can-get-from-Walmart type spread on it.

I actually came here for the pizza but I got carried away and changed my mind to the chicken gyro and fries option last minute . It costs $11.45. It wasn’t over the top , but I was hungry and my belly is 80% full . Love the place , it’s clean and comfy . The attendants are nice as well .

Definitely not worth the money. I got a small meats pizza and they didn’t put bacon on it, which comes on it. I also got a vegetarian pizza, and the mushrooms smelled old. Also the salt on the tables were wet and I poured it on my pizza before noticing. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because the cashier was polite.
