Come enjoy lunch or dinner Wednesday-Sunday and select from our wide variety of in-house brewed craft beer!
For our bourbon lovers, check out our Private Select Barrel Pick Bourbons! The Scout & Scholar team visited local Kentucky distilleries to hand pick one of a kind, single barrel bourbons. These selections were intentional and thoughtful picks made to pair well with our amazing beers and food.

We came in today for a late lunch. We were seated promptly with super friendly staff helping us. The food came out really fast, which was great because we were whiskey hungry from our tours! My husband had the smash burger, and I had the salad with grilled chicken. We shared the fried pickle app and it was really yummy:) The fries were really good too, perfectly hot and crunchy! The watermelon cocktail was Awesome !

The beers are amazing . Get the sampler! They have a good bourbon list too. Also tried the fried pickled basket with fried jalapeno, sweet peppers, onions and pickles-so good! Outdoor seating too

Our experience at Scout & Scholar was fantastic. Our waiter did a phenomenal job and always checked to make sure we were good. We both also really enjoyed our food. The beer was fantastic. I got to try a flight of all five of their sour beers, and they were delicious! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! They also have a gluten free menu for those that need it.

This place had a really cool vibe. Modern and chic yet comfortable and familiar. My family and I ate here on a Thursday late afternoon/early dinner. I highly recommend the queso and chips. One person in our party had the pretzel and he said it was probably one of the best pretzels he’s ever eaten, and he said that the pretzel mustard was really good. I prefer the beer cheese. Two of us in our party had the smash burgers and they were what you would expect. I wish I would’ve asked for lettuce on mine. The draft menu was extensive and had it not been for the fact that we were going to still have a haul to get home, we would’ve definitely enjoyed trying some of the items they had on tap. The outside patio looks really cool and on a crisp summer night, I think this would be the place to hang out in Bardstown. The staff was very friendly and our service was good.

We had a blast here! It was recommended by a friend, and when we checked it out it definitely met our expectations. Service was great and there’s bar seating, dining seating, and an upstairs lounge area where they also host bingo nights! The food was really good, we weren’t too hungry so we stick with starters. We’ll be back!

Cool atmosphere with several seating options including bar, near bar with TV views, quieter second room and outdoors. Nifty collection of their own beer maybe 2 dozen offerings. Good food and two prep/presentation options on several items (scout and scholar). We waited about 10 minutes for a 3 top on Sunday. This seems like a popular place.

OUTSTANDING!!! This needs to be on your list if you come to Bardstown!! The food and beer was amazing, all of it. The service and hospitality is ultimately what pushed this to 5 + Stars. Thanks to Sydney and Kevin for the service and conversation.

We thoroughly enjoyed this place! We ordered flights and enjoyed every beer we tried. We also had food which was so tasty and the menu was perfect match for the beer and vibe. Our server, Sydney, was attentive and helpful. I live an 1.5 hours away, but will definitely make the drive again and will recommend Scout and Scholar to friends. Good job on this one, Bardstown!
