The Salty Monkey-Romans 10:9-10

My husband and I pulled in to order and noticed a man sitting at the table with a large bag and it was obvious he was homeless. Long story short the new manager and her employees showed what compassion and humbleness is! They not only fed this man but she gave her tips to him . I cannot express the love that came from this location on Jones Street in Garden City Kansas in just a matter of a few minutes. If I could give a million stars I would. I pray God will bless each and everyone of those beautiful people!!! ❤❤❤

This place has gotten so bad I would advise to drive across town to the other sonic! Seriously avoid this place like a plague! We waited on an online order for over half hour only to have them screw it up. I don’t think this is a franchise problem as much as a completely incompetent crew. Avoid this place! The local owner of this sonic desperately needs to clean house and hire a good crew before his business suffers even worse. No straws, no sauces, and we got charged for whipped topping we didn’t receive! Too bad for a sonic that used to be great!

I’m not one to write reviews but this experience was horrible. We were waiting for one drink for almost 25 minutes. They brought out someone else’s order the first time. When she finally brought out our drink we handed her the money and she walked away with our change. It was a few dollars not a big deal……. If you don’t mind waiting in the stall for half an hour then I definitely recommend sonic at 5 points!

I did a mobile order. 1 burger, a pretzel stick, 1 slush and 1 drink. We waited 23 minutes in 105 degrees before I called them. About 7 minutes later, the carhop who answered the phone brought out my order. I did not get the cheese with my pretzel, and the slush was already melting which implies to me it had been made for at least 10 minutes by the time they brought it out. This was at least half an hour before the 5 o’clock rush, and I saw at least 3 different carhops so it wasn’t a staffing issue. Bad service every time I come here, every time I say I’m only going to the East Sonic from now on. This was the last chance. Never going here again. Sticking with East Sonic!

I learned about Sonic Drive-In while on a trip to Garden City 40 years ago. I have come back to Garden at least once a year since and always go to the Sonic on Jones a few times during my 3 week visit. I have been there 3 times this trip and have been sadly disappointed each time. The first two trips they didn’t get our orders right, which we discovered after we got home. Tonight I pulled in and pressed the button and an employee came out to the car and said the speaker wasn’t working. I started to place my order with her, I was there to get 6 milk shakes. She said, “Oh we aren’t doing ice cream right now.” and turned to walk away. Then she stopped and said, “I think we’re cleaning them or we’re out.” I left and drove across town to the other drive-in I got what I wanted with very friendly service. Sonic is still my favorite drive-in, but the one on Jones will never get another dime from me. Customer service can make or break your business.

Horrible service… Took them 45minutes for two waters and some tots… Definitely hate coming to this sonic but didn’t think their service performance would be so tedious… When they did finally come out… They tried giving me a bag of ice…. Recommend the sonic on 1313 Kansas. Never will come here for anything.

This Sonic is sometimes so busy it is hard to get good service 100% of the time but today I had a wonderful experience. I had a very complicated order and the employee Emanuel was SO patient and kind to me. He was very friendly and he got my order perfect!! I love good service and great employees. Emanuel is a gem and Sonic is lucky to have him! My experience was so pleasant I had to leave a review and will continue to support this Sonic!
