Tried this place before we went to a candle light walk at Fort Ridgely State Park. The burgers were aweome and the fries crispy. The owner was very friendly and gave us some history of the building. When he saw me taking a photo of the unique wall design he pointed out more in other areas. I plan to be back next time I am in the area.

Was looking for a place to eat on a move late at night. Everything was closed except for Poppy’s bar. The owner Dane is really nice and fired up the grill to cook me whatever I wanted off the menu. The burger was delicious! The people in the bar were friendly, good atmosphere. Even gave me a drink on the house. Would definitely stop by again if I’m ever traveling through Sleepy Eye.

Dane is sweet and kind we come here at least twice a week. Good nice people I highly recommend it. Worth your while. Wonderful place. Pizza awesome attention they are shut permanently closed.

My husband and I were able to try out the new restraint in flavorSleepy MN called Poppy’s. The food was great. The burgers are 2/3 lb. They make their own buns and pizza crust. I had the chicken alfrado, large portion, large flavor. Take the short drive to Sleepy Eye and check it out. They won’t let you down.
