Went during the soft reopening as I am Korean BBQ. They need a little bit of time to get their legs under them, but it was a great experience and I am excited to see them thrive in a sorely needed niche.

Edit (5/11/23): Review changed from 4/5 to 3/5. The Korean BBQ is overpriced considering the limited number of options. It was also weird how ordering bulgogi came with rice and vegetables. Never have I had AYCE KBBQ where they try to sneak filler foods into your meal.

so excited to know this restaurant is reopened. it was one of my most favorite restaurants in town before. currently, it combines with Geisha’s menus(do not need to drive to downtown to have sushi there). we have sushi this time, and plan to try the grill soon!

Absolutely loved the food and service at I am Korean BBQ and sushi! My friends and I went here for lunch yesterday. I ordered the fox sushi roll (friends ordered the Jennifer and White Tiger rolls) and got some excellent appetizers with it including Korean pancakes + side salad (the dressing was amazing) and 11 side sides!!! All this food for the price of one roll!!!

Terrible experience. We have six persons but they give us one dish each time. After one dish runs out, we need wait 10 more minutes for next one. So if you come here, you eat ten minutes then wait half an hour. I

The best Korean-Japanese fusion in town! I’ve been coming here since the day they opened and let me tell you, it is extremely rare to find a restaurant at this caliber that is consistent and is continuously getting better and better! You are not here to dine, you are here for the experience! Your taste buds, your senses, your eyes will be delighted by anything and everything that you pick from the menu. The amount of preparation and work that the chef puts on every single dish still blows my mind up to this date. The service is excellent – everyone is attentive, helpful, knowledgeable about the menu, and friendly.

Service is great from one of the servers, the other dude seems a little too laid back. The selection of meats for BBQ is ok, missing some marinated pork or chicken. There’s a lack of ssam making stuff, so you’re stuck with just meat and a small selection of ban chan.

Not a real Korean bbq place. No dipping sauce. The server keep on turning down the burner because it produces too much smoke. How can it be a bbq when the temperature is set at mid-low? Sushi look nice, but not that good. They stuffed it with extra rice. Overall it was my 1st and last time there.
