If nothing else go here for the empanadas. They are so fluffy and delicate on the outside that they practically melt in your mouth. The tamales are very tender and they have 3 choices to choose from (tamales available Fridays and Saturdays only). I also highly recommend the quesabirria! Friendly and fast service!

Small and authentic would be the 2 best words describing this location. If you’re looking for authenticity then this is the place, unfortunately they only have a small selection of menu items but each of them are worth stopping by in their own right. They speak English so no need to worry about the language barrier. They have dine in seating located outside, you can call and place an order ahead of time as well. Would highly recommed.

Out of all the, very many, taco stops and shops. La Cabana wins, hands down! Their fresh, made on site, in front of you, ingredients, are worth a 2 hr drive!! This tamale, is the best, I’ve ever had! First time ever, having it wrapped in a banana leaf and it was amazing!!

Great small and authentic taco spot. Best tacos al pastor I’ve had in a long time. We also tried the tacos de asada and empanadas. Everything had a great flavor, and was hot as it was prepared to order. We will definitely be back.

I had the carne asada tacos and my friend had the shrimp tacos and said they were amazing. Finally some authentic Mexican food in Thomasville! Everything was good and food was quick! The green salsa is more mild than I am used to but when mixed with a bit of the red adds the kicks I’m looking for, so don’t be afraid to have the green is your worried it will be too spicy and if you want it really spicy just go full red, you won’t regret it. Will come back on my next visit from California!
