What a disappointment. My husband loved this place, my first time, and now we wish we would’ve went to McDonald’s over this place for our anniversary. For paying $100+, you expect at least a decent meal… this was not the place. My drink had no alcohol, our calamari wasn’t fully cooked, spinach artichoke dip wasn’t either. Salads were awful. And our meals… even worse. See photo for “medium rare” steak. With certainty, I will never go back here and will make sure no one else does either. How is this place even open? We should’ve known because there were only three other cars in the parking lot in hindsight…

Was upscale and expensive. The five of us ate for about $250. It was my birthday and our first time there. Service was awesome! Food was awesome! Drinks were awesome! Fountain around the beautiful stone fireplace wasn’t working, but that didn’t matter to much. The driveway could use repaving, luckily the weather was nice or we may have had trouble getting down it in our van. Overall we had a fun time and enjoyed ourselves.

The steaks here are second to none. Our server has been with them for a few years and was knowledgeable. The only hang up was the selection. They were out of many items. The first person who ordered asked for a baked potato. Apparently that was the last one. They didn’t have door of the other sides. Some struggles with stock and staff. Call ahead and see if they are open. The staffing issues have caused some hour adjustments.

As always, our favorite steakhouse to eat at when we are in town. The food is so delicious and the services is always top notch. You could honestly get full off of the amazing salad and breadsticks but save room for dinner because it only gets better. The steak is consistently cooked to the desired temperature and the salmon is delicious as always. You can never go wrong with their bread pudding but Cindy’s cheesecakes are out of this world.

Graduation lunch with the family. Maybe a hair pricey for this area, but everyone said the food was great. Had Smothered Chicken Breast, and they didn’t short me on the mushrooms and onions, and plenty of melted provolone. Turtle cheesecake was excellent as expected, but the bread pudding was surprisingly topped with a delicious sweet sauce and was a real hit. Others had the grilled pork chop, 10 oz Top Sirloin, and shrimp skewer, and all enjoyed them.

Ever go to a steakhouse only to be disappointed? Spent 50+$ and got a sub par piece of meat and mediocre service wishing you just would have eaten at home ? Well that won’t happen at Matt’s !!! I’ve been several times and let me tell you the steaks, service and atmosphere are top shelf. I would suggest the ribeye even though Matt recommends the KC strip which is very flavorful, I prefer the tenderness and marbling of the ribeye. The beef at Matt’s is high quality, properly trimmed and cooked to perfection. All of the steaks come with unlimited salad and bread sticks . The homemade cheesecake is some of the best cheesecake I’ve ever had . Try the banana split cheesecake it’s my favorite.

Food was decent but very pricey. Huge restaurant and there were only 2 tables occupied, yet the wait staff was almost nonexistent, though congenial. For our party of 6 they brought 1 bowl with a small amount of soggy salad for us to share. It was supposed to be unlimited and we asked for more but didn’t get more until after our entrees were served. This would be a great place to open a restaurant.

Best steak in the area! Love the salad and bread sticks as well. Good atmosphere and drinks are great. The bartenders know how to make lots of drinks most in the area don’t even know what are. Prices are higher but that’s to be expected with high end food and drinks. Still my favorite place to get a good steak and drink out side traveling to St.louis. Never disappointed with the food here .
