We asked the cashier if hot mustard was in bag and it was not. The food was uneventful. The steamed dumplings had the most taste. I live in SC, I guess I expected more. Lol.

I hate to have to do this because I love their food, but I will never order from them again. I recently had ankle surgery and have been out of work. I decided to splurge a bit on my budget and ordered dinner from here. I tipped what I could/thought was fair given my budget. The delivery driver proceeded to ask me for more money in a tip, claiming that it took double the amount of time that it actually does to get from the restaurant to my house and my tip wouldn’t even pay for gas. I’m very disappointed because I think this is the best place for takeout Chinese in the area. You just lost a customer.

Portions aren’t large but quality is usually great. This is our go to Chinese location. Had a rare miss with the egg rolls last time but usually on point. They are also fairly pricey but the quality usual makes up for it. I do suggest ordering by phone and getting pickup for your best experience.

It has some of the best Chinese food south of Boston. Their consistency and quality are very good.

It may not look like much from the outside, but this is probably the best Chinese food I’ve had in MA. The General Gau’s tofu is amazing so I’d imagine the versions with meat are as well. A family member always gets something with shrimp and says they’re so much bigger and fresher than other places, and another with a food allergy has been very happy with how accommodating they’ve been and impressed that they manage to make it taste good even when having to improvise and leave out typical ingredients. Highly recommend.

My favorite Chinese food on the south shore! Winnie is always so kind. This is my go-to for take-away or delivery on a lazy day at home.

We ordered the sesame sparkling chicken. The portions were small for $18 a plate, comparable to a $9-12 dish elsewhere, and the chicken wasn’t very lean. It was also delivery, which took over an hour vs the website-advertised 30 minutes. The chicken fingers were good though.

Updating what up until I became quite ill from what I must attribute to a takeout here 3 weeks ago (of pork lo mein and chicken with peanuts) whichever dish was responsible I don’t know. Most likely the pork lo mein….. Not only was there an exceptionally long wait on line to pick up due to a disgruntled seemingly paranoid customer whose accusations of having been sick previously began making the line forming behind me a little queasy as well. This was not the fault of the restaurant— the usual very outspoken no nonsense checkout lady must have had the night off so some others were forced to deal with a bothersome customer. I sympathized with the employee and paid my bill for a takeout. I had no preconceived notions or doubt about the food but within 35-45 min of consumption of half of each dish, I was sick as a dog and it continued for 14 straight days. Dr visits and tests ruled out any bug or parasite—I was told food poisoning can last that long in our own body’s determination to be rid of every single morsel of whatever disagreed with our system. So, I’m not saying everything is tainted in fact I’m so sad because I can never eat there again and previously found them to be the only decent Chinese restaurant around here. Just be careful with the pork ? I don’t know but this is absolutely the worst and longest I had ever experienced such a violent reaction to food. But like clockwork 35 min later ….. Awful. I know I’m spoiled from living on Long Island (NY) for the last few years where the competition is so fierce for every kind of food from the ornamental diners to Italian Greek Mexican and Chinese. So I’m sad that the quality of food hasn’t even come close except the Italian local restaurants that are wonderful. Forget about anything else. I regret having to lose what I’d found to be pretty decent. But this is my experience and hopefully it doesn’t happen to anyone else.
