Had two great meals here on our vacation from Ireland and couldn’t fault the food or the service. Food was better than some others nearby on the 192 with similarly high ratings. We shared a mix of tacos and a chicken quesadilla with rice and beans. Kids taco was great. Even the chicken nuggets for my picky youngest were good. Kids loved the complimentary chips and salsa and worth getting some guacamole. Excellent margaritas too . Well worth a visit. Service was great. Highly recommend.

Our wait time for food was longer than what we are used to, but everywhere you go in 2022 is like that. What made it pleasing were the amazing drinks and being greeted with chips and salsa while we waited. The food tasted fantastic, and we had a very kind server.

Our group of 15 visited El Tapitio for the first time. The service was great & attentive. I wanted to try something new so, I ordered the Alambre & I was pleasantly pleased with my selection. It was a wonderful combination of steak, chicken, chorizo. pork & ham with peppers, onions, & cheese. And it included rice & beans. The hotter salsa was a good upgrade as well..

We had a very enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was extremely nice, and I loved the live music. Restaurant staff was friendly and helpful. Food came out extremely fast, was sizzling hot, and had good flavor. We felt it could have had some more seasoning, but it was still good. We would visit again.

Fantastic! I had the Molcajete Tarasco which really could feed 2 people and the cost was half that of an entre at some of the chain restaurants nearby. The food was all fresh and delicious, service was great and oh did i forget to mention the margaritas? My only regret is that I can’t get them to make a copy of this restaurant and put it in my home town.

We ate lunch on Sunday, March 19. We all had the Molcajete, a mix of sautéed shrimp, chicken, steak, cheese, chorizo, and nopal (tender cactus leaves) with peppers and onions served on a molcajete (a mortar made out of lava rock).

I’ve come to find a great amount of Mexican restaurants in my area are very high quality but this particular restaurant is absolutely perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing about my dining experience.We for the Sampler as the appetizer and it was so much we couldn’t finish it all between 3 guys. I then ordered the Chicken Fajita as my entree and it came out perfect. Still steaming hot on the cast iron. Our server Leo was a delight. I will definitely be retuning to this place next time I am in the mood for some top tier Mexican food.
