Have only been here once so maybe it was an off day. The food felt almost like a Chevys. But a little on the undercooked side and bland for my liking. The atmosphere felt like it wants to be a bar more than a restaurant and the music was just coming from one speaker. My favorite part of coming here was the mixed margaritas.

A little out of town, and sitting next to the decidedly bleak shopping area that features the DMV, this places misses out on a lot of passing traffic. But it is definitely worth visiting. The food is great, and the service far superior to a lot of the other Mexican restaurants in the area.

Servers are so nice and friendly. Menu is well put together and food is great. Plus, they had paper straws and detailed food information for anyone with allergies or various diets. The El Rey platter was good with plenty of food for friends. Glad I visited! And FYI, happy hour is 2-7 M-F.
