I came here to have a playa bowl and I was not wrong with my decision. The staff helped me choose what to get and what I should try. I ordered a playa bowl every other day. A different bowl because I wanna try the different wonders it offers. I always try something new. I love this location it’s a nice area. Get to walk around and enjoy the area. Parking is free in the summer so that’s a Plus. You don’t have to worry about the meter. It can be a little packed/a big line. But it’s worth it.

There is a promo going on ($10 Mango Mama or Goldie Bowl, and if you spend at least $14 you get a FREE 16oz sweet cold brew coffee) and in combination with my previous reward points I was able to get $3 off! So in total I spent about $9 for the breakfast, not including tip!

Picked up 2 of the same bowls on Sunday – one was to have gluten free granola and the other wasn’t. They forgot to label which was which, so I took one and they remade another that would have gluten free granola. They went to put it back in the bag again after it was made and it was unlabeled… I asked for a label and noticed that they added cacao nibs and walnuts even though I requested to have it without them because I do not care for them. After waiting for my bowl to be remade the first time, I decided to just take it wrong because they didn’t seem too thrilled to make another one. I was told I could just “scoop it off the top”. Considering I paid for these, it would have been nice to have them the way I ordered them. I was frustrated already at this point. Then, to top it all off I went home and decided to try it even though I was unhappy with it and chewed on a piece of hard rubber/or plastic that came from inside of my bowl. I sent an email immediately on Sunday – no response. Sent another one Monday – still not response. Absolutely terrible that no one would reach out to me to make this right after this horrible experience.

It was my first time at this location, I was craving a protein smoothie and ended up ordering one dolce and one orange booster smoothie. A family of 5 walked in after me and ordered 4 playa bowls, then 3 other customers walk-in. There were a total of 5 customers waiting and I was the first to order. Out of the five customers waiting, the third customer got their order, then the family of 5 with all their bowls, and then me. I would say I waited at least 10-15 min to receive my two smoothies and when I mentioned I was not happy with the service to one of the four employees working, I was told exactly, “It’s Sunday we’re busy and sometimes it gets out of control.” Meanwhile, when I ordered I was the only customer with another family still looking at the menu waiting after I ordered what was a simple ‘throw in some ingredients in a blender’ smoothie. Yet they managed to make 4 bowls which the base needed to be blended..and also made another customer something else that took away from MY order being done first. Service – 0/10. Food – 5/10 the smoothie I ordered was suppose to contain chocolate and I only tasted banana and peanut butter.

The wait time is the worst to be honest buttttt…. they do warn you with a sign at the counter saying it’s easier if you order online and then pick it up later (20-30 minutes – ish ). It was my first time however at any Playa Bowl so I didn’t know that.

It’s a Friday night, I ordered a little over 2 hours before closing. Playa bowl was an absolute soup consistency and on top of that the staff seems annoyed to even be there working. Terrible food serving quality, customer service and on top of that $13! Mind blowing…. Save your money and either go to a better location or make your own at home.
