On Leap Day, I went to Howard’s for lunch. As a vegetarian I searched the menu to build an order. I was very satisfied and would recommend that vegetarians consider this place for wonderful side dishes and salad besides the cozy atmosphere!

We were just passing through and stopped in on a whim. I can not stress how good the food was here. The prices are like going back in time when things were more realistic. Someone mentioned the wait time for food and we did wait awhile but this is home cooked and so great!! A must stop if you have the time! Also, the wait was not to bad just not fast food for sure.

Our family has enjoyed eating at Howards for years. But this will be the last time that we will be eating there for lately the speed of service has been lagging a lot. We had to wait over an hour for our dinner. It was cold not seasoned and some of the order was wrong. Yes I can understand they also had to cook for to go orders. But as a fellow cook in the food service business. We was always taught that people who are dine in should have priority over people who call in their food to take home to eat. Yet with two cooks there should have been no problem with one person cooking for the diners who was enjoying their night out trying to enjoy a home cooked meal. And one cook to prepare the meal for people to take home.

Ate there today. Great small cafe, highly recommend the catfish. Baked potato was good, and cheese balls tasty. Salad could have a few more ingredients, as it only had lettuce and tomato. Sweet tea very good, not to sweet.
