Went to Chan’s recently before going to the theater. The Chinese food was very good. I especially liked their crab Rangoon. The pastry part was very light and fluffy. Everything my wife and I ordered was delicious. The wait staff was courteous and helpful. But…. The Head Hunters we ordered tasted like nothing more than sweetened fruit juice. No alcohol taste or hit at all. We’ve both had Head Hunters many times, and you come to expect that the drink is going to do what it’s name implies. Not this time. We will definitely be back to Chan’s. We plan on going to one of their famous live jazz nights. But we’ll be ordering non-Polynesian drinks .

Plates of food are huge- could feed two people. Good selection. Service was great. Atmosphere is interesting. Was advised they do comedy night and other events/soon to find out.

Tonight I took my daughter and 2 young grandchildren to Chan’s for dinner and order some appetizers rice and lo mein. Shrimp was so over cooked I don’t know why they even bothered to serve them, did make a new order and oh so much better but they also forgot to send out the pork fried rice, had to ask for it. While we were still eating our food my youngest grandbaby made a noise that made us look to see what she was fussing about when we saw a roach scurry across her dish and napkin. When the waitress came over to see what happened she really wasn’t all that surprised when we told her about the roach.

Food is gross, better options in the area for Chinese good. It’s either greasy, powdery (if that makes sense), leaves an aftertaste in your mouth, or all the above. Asia Grille is much better.

Absolutely the worst Chinese food I have ever had the displeasure of attempting to eat. Perhaps in 1905 the Food was prepared properly, now however it tastes like it was poured out of a can and microwaved. Chow Mein ????

Great attentive service .. Clean .. Food arrived promptly .. Egg rolls were nearly perfect in taste and texture .. Just wish they used more minced celery greens .. Rice was fluffy .. Plenty of meat .. Not crazy salty .. Chow mein was great .. everything arrived at my table in a timely manner and piping hot .. also noticed that they have a small intimate concert venue and host some pretty talented Acts .. James Montgomery band … Steve Smith Jazz Band ( He was the drummer for Journey ) .. Popa Chubby (an amazing, sadly under-the-radar Blues man) … Great and talented acts at a more than reasonable price .. check out Chan’s .. It’s pretty cool
