We had this restaurant at a mall near me when I was little. I always wanted to go there I never got the chance. It closed years ago. However, we were looking at something online and my husband found this one at the Lehigh Valley Mall. It’s over an hour drive from us but we decided to drive out there for the day just for the sole reason to eat here. We were not disappointed! Our waitress was extremely nice and friendly. We ordered pickle fries as an appetizer. I ordered the Hofbrau platter, my son got pierogies, my daughter got a Bavarian burger, and my husband got liverwurst. Everything was great and we look forward to visiting again sometime soon! We only ordered soft drinks but it looks like they have a pretty extensive beer menu, for those who are looking for that.

Staff was attentive and kitchen was quick. Food was good (kids frozen burger could’ve been better but the schnitzel and goulash were great). The only qualm I had was that it could be a bit cleaner/ updated. I had pretty low expectations coming in because of how it looked but was pleasantly surprised in the end.

A very good lunch! We ordered Jager Schnitzel, mashed potatoes and gravy, red cabbage, garden salad and Hungarian mushroom soup. Food and service were all very good. Beer was served in frosted glass mugs. Overall, a great experience and we will be returning.

We love coming here to get German style meals. I must say that on the this last visit I was sticker shocked at the meal prices compared to the portions. I understand that due to inflation there will be increases but this seems to be excessive. Still a fan though!

A favorite place to eat for decades. The German-inspired menu remains a cherished diversion from Mall shopping. The beer selection is greatly reduced from years past, but still formidable. Very friendly staff serves delicious food and drink.

Used to always go with my mom when we would have a girls day at the mall and I haven’t been there in years. The food and service was great as always and my server Stephanie was so nice and friendly. Highly recommend for a nice little lunch or dinner.

So this place is on the higher end of pricing for a restaurant like this, but the portions are HUGE. There was more than enough left for a second meal. The waitress was nice to me and had a smile on. I also thought the food was great! Also, you actually seat yourself at this place, which was interesting too. Overall, though a bit pricy, it was a warm environment and I’d go back again.

This place has unique food that is full of delicious flavor. The staff has always been pleasant. The atmosphere is really nice with wall size photographs of Germany. We will continue to return to this reminiscent restaurant. If you would like to dabble in German food. This is the place to do it at an affordable price.
