At first, it was a bit different than I’m used to, but it grew on me. I like that it’s a beef broth base. It’s not as rich as pork broth but simple. Noodles remind me of store bought but still good. Never tried mozzarella cheese but it’s a nice touch. Bulgogi was delicious ! Pan fried dumplings were a tad thick but still good!

There isn’t much Korean food in Central Illinois which make Soeul Mamma a gem. The food here is delicious, and at a great price, which is not significant increased like at many restaurants. The desert pancakes are fabulous. Compared to other Korean restaurants, there aren’t as many small dishes (only 3) but they are tasty.

Been here before a handful of times. Walk in. Friday at 5pm. Just beat the rush crowd. Excellent service, waitress was very polite. Excellent food. Seafood pancake for appetizer was delicious. Beef bulgogi great and the pork bulgogi was hands down the best as always. Korean wine was good as well. Always on my top five for area.

What an amazing restaurant to have here in Bloomington! My family and I go here as often as we’re able. The food is phenomenal, the atmosphere welcoming and comfortable, and the people so nice. I really love how clean the food is; I leave not feeling like I’ve just eaten out. You’re able to order healthy choices that aren’t loaded with sodium and oil. Their Korean drinks options are great, too. Definitely recommend!

I came here to eat as I was in the area for work travel. I originate from the DFW area which has a lot of Korean cuisine which I eat fairly often. I got tired of American food in the Bloomington area, so I thought to try this place out and see how it is. The waitstaff were kind and very attentive.

Such delicious food. Ramen was a perfect portion to fill me up and had delicious toppings. Customer service was impeccable and very attentive. I got the ramen and my boyfriend got Tteokboki (I think that’s how you spell it). I will forever recommend this place to others. My boyfriend and I also got the pork dumplings and garlic soy chicken wings- absolutely delicious.

The food was very good. For an appetizer we had the fried pork dumplings. For the entree, we both had the beef bulgogi which was delicious. The flavor is great. For my drink, I got one of the strawberry milkis. It is basically a strawberry soda. It tasted very good. The only reason I couldn’t give it 5 stars was for the service. However, there was only 1 person waiting on the half full restaurant at the time. We will definitely be back to try some more dishes.

My family and I tried Seoul Mama on a whim one Friday night. It was so good I now have to go at least every two months. I always get their fried rice and tteokkochi (fried rice cakes). Their appetizers are delectable! Their kimchi is also very nice, and the ramen is a must try. I gave 5 stars for atmosphere because inside the restaurant is a bit white/not colorful, but honestly, who goes to a restaurant to stare at the wall?

We arrived at 7:54. Sign says last seating at 8 and the close at 8:30. They tried to refuse to seat us and kept Complaining about it even after They seated us. When I discussed the problem I was told “ You don’t have to come back”. No problem. The Korean fried chicken was the worst we’ve ever had as well. Very poor atmosphere and service. We will never return.

Seoul Mama is a gem. Delicious food, friendly wait staff that take the time to get to know you after even the first few times you visit. I don’t think I’ve ever been treated as well at any restaurant ever. If I could give this place six stars, I would. One of the few reasons I was really sad to move away from Bloomington. They deserve your business.
