Casual vibe, love the atmosphere and the employees attitudes. The food was delicious so it’s safe to say we found our new spot for bbq! Boyfriend loves the beer as well! All of the custom things they had there was really awesome.

First time I was here and for a couple times thereafter the food was excellent. Must have hit them on an off night on the last occasion a couple weeks ago. Gristle in the pulled pork and the fried cheese curds had an unfortunate make over – the original was delicious. The new ones look like fried tofu (and are less tasty than tofu). Read online that they changed their menu 2 days ago. A shame, the food quality went down and then disappeared. The beer is still good. Sad about the food.

Was looking for a barbecue place in Lake Stevens and this is the one we found. The pulled pork Mac and cheese was good but there just wasn’t much pulled pork with it. Place was very clean and nice. Would come back and try the pulled pork sandwich.

I ordered the Brisket Dip with fries & a salad & cannot begin to explain the horror of eating half the sandwich before thinking, “man what kind of cheese did they use that smells so strong,” opening the bun, & realizing that what I thought was extra melty cheese was actually solid fat (I’m talking less then a quarter inch of meat on only one of the multiple pieces, the rest were just chunks of fat), & that messily sliver of meat was coated in that gross turquoise shine that you get on sliced roast beef & similar when it’s gone bad.

We love a good brisket, keyword good. This is the brisket we were served; dry, oh chewy, flavorless. We didn’t even take it home to serve to our dog. They also no longer serve brisket by the pound due to the new menu. There were limited menu. Cc cry. CD selections in my opinion as well.

Ignore the “coming soon” sign. They are fully open and just waiting for the permit to post their real sign.

Pretty good for just opening. Had the brisket sandwich, can’t complain. The sweet potato fries are crinkled which given then a really good crisp, and the ranch is very thick. The one huge downside is parking. I had to back out onto the street when I left.

The place is new and had that new hustle and bustle feel. Walking in the door it was very lively and exciting. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the food selection was great and the beer selection was equally attractive. Placed my order, sat outside and enjoyed the meal. Food was 7/10 beer was 9/10. Will gladly return for more.

Excellent selection of beers and a couple of ciders. Highly recommend the cherry cider. Had the pork sandwich and fries ($17) and it was just the best I’d had. Not full of gushy sauce. Not dry, but just right. They give you four sauces to do it up the way you want. I see they are expanding to Granite Falls (sounds of clapping) GF badly needs another eatery and beer spot. Hurry it up please.

This Que visit was our first. It’s clean with a good atmosphere. They have a simple menu that they do very well. I had their 3 meat plate and my wife had their Pulled pork mac n cheese. Both were tasty. I would say that as far as BBQ is concerned it was 4 out of 5. It had a nice saturated smoke flavor that wasn’t overpowering. Their brisket and pulled pork was almost perfectly tender and their sweet and spicy sauce and Carolina style mustard are quite good. Plus, they have a nice array of taps to choose from. The flight was the way to go for me, since I had a hard time choosing! Instead, I picked 4 and went on my way. I enjoyed the Smoke and Fire brew the best, even though, I tend to gravitate to Hazy’s and other high gravity IPA’s. Definitely will be back for both the BBQ and the taps. Welcome to The Lake Meatheads!
