Okay, this is a hit!!! Best chowder I have allowed to enter my mouth and touch my taste buds. The frozen custard is very unique and tasty as well. All the food is stacked! So glad that my family and I chose this place. Will go again!

Small fast-food restaurant opens at noon when I was there in May. Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. A walk order window only with some outdoor seating. A variety of fast food. Burgers, chowder, fish & chips, kids’ meals. Custard, of course, since they are the King. They have a lot of toppings, shakes, cones, and cups. I noticed it as I drove into town. There was a line, so I knew it must be popular, and it seems to be the case. It is right on Highway 101 at the sidewalk, quite noisy for sure, street parking. I took my very tasty burger and fries across the street and enjoyed along the waterfront. $13.00 for a cheese burger and fries, they were good.

Great food, incredible ice cream. The folks at Custard King don’t mess around. Had the 4 piece fish and chips and it was cooked to perfection. Not too greasy, and full of flavour. The custard was so good I had 2 ice cream cones… highly recommended if you are in Astoria for the day!

Very pricey, $19 for a kids meal, shake, and a scoop of ice cream. Doesn’t taste like custard but the shake was decent. Grilled cheese was fresh

Ok so The word “custard” scared my daughter (she hates eggs and thought it was in their custard)

Stopped here on the way home from Seaside on a Sunday. The place was quite busy, however the staff moved through customers quickly and competently, so we didn’t wait long.
