I don’t know how I’ve missed this place since it’s been here for 8 years, but WOW!! It’s both affordable and delicious, a combination you don’t see very often. Why any truck driver would waste their money at Sonic or Godfather Pizza when they can walk 50 ft and have incredible barbecue and super tasty french fries is beyond me. Good stuff right here in little ol Memphis TX!

It was 100° outside along hwy 287. The 2 men were inside the shop smoking meats to perfection. The food was hot and perfect. This was the first barbecue place I’ve had in Texas, And now all the other places have a high standard to live up to. ♂️

My husband and I absolutely loved the pulled pork BBQ sandwich and their homemade onion rings. They are very friendly and I would make a special trip from Amarillo to Memphis Texas to try some more of their wonderful food!

I’m from California and wanted to try some texas BBQ. Thought who could go wrong with a place called fat and happy. Food is amazing the brisket melts in you mouth and the corn was off the charts good. Even the owner was super helpful and friendly. Customer service was 5 star for sure. I definitely recommend this place 100%. Soo yummy! Thanks for the awesome meal!!

went there in oct 2021, and they were sold out of meat, so we got the catfish basket for a cheap $11! and oh my, it’s unexpectedly so good and they gave lots. totally impressed. if you are driving thru, go check out their food. i am guessing their bbq must be top notched too. i did a review on my youtubechannel if you wanna see it.

I just stopped in here on a whim, and it was some of the best brisket I’ve ever eaten in my life! It was juicy, flavorful and that sauce is to die for!! An extremely friendly customer service! I will definitely stop through there every time I go through Memphis Texas.
