My fiancee and I are in town for a concert and decided to try this restaurant on a whim. It was, by far, the best food we’ve had in a long time. He ordered a brisket baked potato and I ordered gumbo. We would definitely recommend this place! Plus the atmosphere is great!

Cracklin are hard and cold. They are more like pork skin than cracklin. When I order from other places, they are fresh and warm, these taste like they have been made and bagged days ago. Won’t be returning. I would also like to add from the response from the owner down below, this place has horrible customer service. Instead of making things right with a paying customer, they would rather state the customer never set foot in their business. I’ve attached proof of purchase from this establishment. I will definitely be spreading the word of how this business is ran, especially their customer service.

My friend and I were first timers today and had chicken and sausage gumbo with sides of potato salad. Portions were good. Flavors were good. Met the owner very nice man. Service was top notch. Check them out.

A friend and I ate here a few months ago at the recommendation of her mom. This place was very warm and friendly. The food was really good. We each ordered about 3 different things everything sounded so good. They were out of ribs i remember that because after the owner talked about them I wanted it but the kitchen staff let him know they had sold out. I would return absolutely!

We do not recommend this place. First, we ordered the cracklins, and they were brought in a sealed bag that they sell to go. They did not taste fresh. The turkey leg was cold and had an odd taste, almost like a frostbite taste. It seems like they smoked it and then fried it in order to make it seem fresh and hot. The gumbo was super watery with no flavor. It hardly had any chicken or sausage in it, just white rice. We were the only ones in the restaurant, so “busy” was not an excuse for bad food.

I Stop by doing and Urber eat order .I return brought the Tea Rex and hog cracklings and hog head cheese.. I love the pork in the Tex Rex it was so tender and flavorful. The hog cracklings are very good to not Greasy. And it’s affordable I love the head cheese to spicy are kicking. The owner is also very friendly. I definitely told my coworkers and friends and family about this place.
