As a native San Diegan, I can say the food here is fantastic. The staff is always friendly, the value is fantastic, and some of the most consistently delicious food in LFK. Hands down my favorite on the west side of town. Highly recommended!

I only gave the food 1 star so I could write a review..my father and myself drove there 2 meet up for a family birthday party. I don’t usually eat that time of day but the host of the event insisted I have sopapillas, I’ve had them before..what they brought was NOT sopapillas..they were flat pieces of I don’t know what..no cinnamon, sugar or honey!! When they brought everyone else’s meals they literally smelled like puke…and as I watched people eating 11 out of 13 looked like they were gonna puke!!

Drinks were good, food was good! I got a jumbo mango margarita and it was yummy. I ordered the carne asada fries and they were delicious! Lots of menu options to try, and the servers were all friendly and very fast.

Fast and friendly service. I came in at noon on a Saturday and was seated immediately. Our drink order was taken immediately and our food came out very quickly! I ordered the Pollo Special. Great taste, great portions, 10/10 recommend. The cheese dip also tastes amazing here. The waitress was very friendly.

Fantastic local restaurant. Usually very speedy for carry out. It can get really busy on the weekends, so plan accordingly (definitely worth it though). Staff is super friendly and very accommodating.

Wasn’t impressed. Chips and salsa were off, salsa had an odd flavor/after taste. My order was messed up too. I asked for cheese sauce on top of my enchiladas nortenas (1 beef, 1 chicken, 1 cheese) but instead they gave me 3 cheese enchiladas with cheese sauce on top.

Still fairly new to Lawrence and this by far is the best hands down AUTHENTIC Mexican food in the ENTIRE city! Staff is too notch, and wait time was minimal! They’ve got my business I will be back!
