First time visit. Very good food. Good prices and quick service. Interior was very nice. Small but comfy and looks recently remodeled. If you are a large group you may need to ask to have tables pushed together. We were a group of six and luckily found just enough space.

Not the same Mel’s from before. Visited now that they reopened and the place looks good. Unfortunately there want many more positive things to say. The waitress was very fast and didn’t listen well to what we asked for when we asked for drinks. We ended up with two coffees even tho only myself drinks it. The coffee itself had so many grinds in the cup it wasn’t drinkable. Portions were ok. Food was not the same as before. Sometimes there’s adjustment periods for business reopening so we will try again before the summer is over. If things change I’ll update my review.

Very happy to see Mel’s open again. The new owner/, chef, although not new to the restaurant business has done a wonderful job sprucing up the place. The food was delicious- try the creamed chipped beef- and the price point was family friendly. We will be more than happy to make this once again our family go to breakfast venue

Nice little place for breakfast or lunch. There is outdoor seating available and a parking lot. Service was quick and efficient…toast was even warm when served! All your basic breakfast and lunch offerings at a moderate price. (Remember a dozen eggs at the market is about $2 depending on size and location) the potatoes were actually seasoned. So many places brown sliced potatoes on the griddle and call it done with no seasonings what so ever…These folks actually seasoned the potatoes. My wife had the breakfast crepe with fruit filling and really enjoyed it. The place is wheelchair accessible although I don’t know if it would fit in the narrow hall to the rest rooms.
