BOY WERE THEY RIGHT! I had flown in from Ann Arbor and was visiting my friends, Christian and Tracey Hunter, and they said, “You have to try Marinelli’s” and BOY were they right. Owner Vito is an absolute gem of a human, our waitress Nikki was attentive and kind, and the food was AH-MAZE-ING! Hint: try Nonna’s section of the menu and know that the pasta isn’t just pasta (take a bite and enjoy the first wave of taste and then wait for the second wonderful wave of wowness. Your taste buds will thank you. Try Marinelli’s and it will likely become your home away from home spot for a home cooked family meal. Highly recommend!

I need a sixth star for the rating. We just came to the area a few months ago and have dined at a about a dozen places so far and this is by far our favorite restaurant. The portions are generous, the prices reasonable, and the food is just plain delicious. An added bonus is that the staff are attentive, courteous & efficient. The owners (Vito & Kristine) came by our table and, in addition to being passionate about their work, may be two of the nicest people we’ve met yet. For appetizers (which we highly recommend) we had the Portabello Mushroom Flatbread & the Mussels in Spicy Marinara (apologies for the picture below – didn’t think to take it before my father vigorously dug in). After that four of us split the Chicken Kristine, Caitlin and Giovanni entrees and long story short all three were delicious – and again portions so generous that we took some of each home.

This was my first visit to Marinelli’s Pizza. No, there’s no relation, we went because they have “my name.” I made sure to take pictures of their sandwiches as they are as photogenic as they are delicious! We had the Italian hot dog and a chicken sandwich with mozzarella, etc. As an appetizer we ordered eggplant fries, they were so good. We treated ourselves to zeppoles for dessert and what a treat they were! The waitress, Whitney, was friendly and efficient. The manager, Karl, greeted us and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. It truly is a great Pizzeria and Italian Restaurant and I highly recommend stopping in for a hearty sandwich! You will not be disappointed.

Pizza below avg. not consistent , was better in past but staff changes obviously effected the quality of the pizza and how it being made. The crust was so hard and literally torn up the roof of my mouth as if I just ate captain crunch cereal. I honestly feel like that pizza was saved from night before then reheated and served to me. Beyond the the poor quality in product, it sadly doesn’t end there, I stood at the counter to place my order probably like 8 mins or so before staff acknowledged me and took my order. Yup I sat there staring at them hanging out causally chit chatting between each other knowing that I was waiting for my order to be placed. I understand if things are hectic and busy, but it was 11:10 when I entered, there were 2 other customers waiting as well. So I hope you have a better experience at this place, for I will never return to that establishment.

We recently visited Marinelli’s for a pasta dinner and were not disappointed. This location is a BYOB and has plenty of seating to enjoy a relaxing casual dinner. The staff is friendly and we had very good service. We ordered the cheese raviolis and penne vodka. The raviolis tasted fresh with a good sauce. The penne was good too. I also ordered a cappuccino, that was really good, and a cannoli which was good. Overall a great place to have a casual dinner with very friendly service. We will definitely be back.

We recently ordered 3 trays of food for our Niece’s Bridal shower and everyone loved the food! Vito was great to work with, he understood our needs and recommended dishes that would go with the occasion. I will be visiting the restaurant soon and will recommend it to all my friends!

Food and service were amazing. Ordered the garlic bread for the appetizer which was amazing. Entree was the eggplant parm grinder which was the best eggplant parm I think I’ve ever had. Tried their cheese pizza which was amazing and fresh out of the oven. The staff was very attentive and the atmosphere was busy yet quiet enough to be able to talk to your table. Will definitely be coming here again!
