Italiano’s Restaurant is a gem in River Oaks, TX. The food is fresh, homemade, and delicious. The pizza is thin and crispy, the pasta is rich and creamy, and the salads are crisp and refreshing. The service is friendly and fast, and the atmosphere is cozy and casual. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves Italian food. Super cute little place with very nice touches throughout. The food was delicious. I love that granulated garlic is on the table with the salt and pepper. My husband had the pasta sampler. I had the baked ziti. We shared the tiramisu. It was all so good. We definitely recommend.

My Grandmother used to tell me that if I didn’t have anything good to say…the rolls were incredible! Some folks use cinnamon or mace in their sauce, personally I hate it. I wish I had known ahead of time. The chicken parm was good, and Laura’s plate was good, really good alfredo.

On their Tour of Pasta, The lasagna and chicken parmesan was very good, though no spaghetti , yet it’s called You of Pasta. If you wanted fettuccine, this is not the place. They use egg noodles instead and half of your Tour of Pasta is these disgusting noodles. It just befuddles me how restaurants will sub egg noodles for fettuccine or fettuccine for spaghetti noodles! Applebee’s use to use fettuccine noodles. This place, I’m unsure of. No one ordered the spaghetti. If you want garlic bread with this, order that otherwise they give you dense somewhat hard rolls.

My daughter took me here for my final night before heading back home out of state. Our server was on top of it. We never had to ask for a refill or extra napkins. The food was delicious. I had the past sampler and daughter had Tortellini Texas Style. The dinner rolls they serve while you’re waiting for you food were huge, fresh, light and nice and warm. The prices were reasonable as well. When my hubby and I come back to visit, we’ll be going here for a meal or two at least.

First time trying this lovely little place. Food was traditional Italian and was very tasty. The chicken piccata was really good, lemony and tasty! The tour of pasta was a great way to try a couple of dishes. I couldn’t stop eating the chicken parmigiana. If you like more authentic Italian, this is very much like little eateries in Italy. It is not like Italian chain food (which is a great thing). We will be back… and with a bottle of wine, we didn’t know it was BYOB but makes it better that we can bring our favorite to have with dinner.

Tried this place for the first time yesterday, the Tortellini Texas was everything we hoped it be and then some! Quaint and family style atmosphere, the grilled chicken was on point too. My gf loved it too, we will definitely be back. We’ve come back since and it was just as good!
