Excellent India cuisine restaurant.. I tried the buffet. It was very yummy . The service was very nice and friendly. Maybe they need to improve in the interior ( decoration ). The rest was excellent.

The best Indian food buffet in town hands down! Usually the buffet style food is low quality and simply focused on the quantity, but not at Shiva. Everything that was presented at the buffet bar was fresh, and constantly monitored by the chef, and the quality was beyond superb. The staff was friendly, and was very attentive to what ever we needed. I would highly recommend to anyone who loves genuine Indianan cuisine at a great price!

Just had dinner at their grand opening. Tried a little of everything and was not disappointed. Owners were very friendly and helpful. My young kids loved all the food and I did too! Glad to have good Indian food back in Norman after Himalayas left. Will definitely be back! As of June 11, 2017, prices are $9.99 for adult lunch buffet and $11.99 for dinner buffet.

Shiva is a great addition to East Norman (as of June 11, 2017). The new restaurant (formerly Church’s Chicken) is quaint in the interior. It is nothing fancy. But the interior is clean and hospitable. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. Now the best part, the food. The buffet is modest. But it is full of some very good food- including various vegetarian delights. Everything I ate was excellent. I will be back.

This place was wonderful. 08/03/2017. I have not had good Indian food for years. I will be back !! Today I started with Murg Curry. The Spicy made my nose run. I think I will stick with Medium. I will try most the items one by one. This place is clean and pleasant. It appears it is family owned and they aim to please. Great atmosphere and the family speaks quietly and politely. They explained the contents of the menu items as I was pretty unfamiliar with this cuisine, Again great food, great atmosphere and great people. Prices were reasonable.

I was so excited for this place to open. The owners have done a tremendous job of making it welcoming and inviting. Their prices are great, there is an all day buffet with items offered that are not on other Indian buffets in the area, and their menu is very extensive. The flavours are complex as they should be, however, I feel they could add a bit more heat to their dishes.

Great buffet for a good price. Student discount! They bring out fresh naan to your table. I love their goat curry and butter chicken. After stuffing yourself with the delicious food you can sit and relax with their complimentary hot tea! That will put you right to sleep. I wish they had a beer selection, but hopefully they will be able to serve it soon. The employees are always very nice and attentive. They take away your finished plates, good at paying attention to refilling your water, etc.

Great Indian food! The place is a repurposed fast food restaurant. It’s nicer on the inside than the exterior. The staff was very friendly and prompt. My wife and I both had the buffet and it was amazing for Norman! The menu has good selections too.
