The atmosphere was that of a friendly neighborhood picnic with live music and made for a pleasant afternoon/evening vibe. However, the food quality was a bit of a letdown compared with the rest of the experience. The food was okay but not great. Also the restaurant can be hard to find if one is unfamiliar with the area. It is located behind the Evening Star Cafe with little signage or directions to navigate customers to the Hi/Fi restaurant.

Great new hangout spot in the ‘hood. Away from the bustle of the avenue you can relax in this fun spot and imagine you are on staycation. The bar is a great place to hang out for a few hours while enjoying cold drinks and fab food.

Service was great here and the meats were fantastic. We tried the carnitas and had the bbq platter with brisket. While the meat was perfectly smoked and moist, the sides left more to be desired. It’s hard to compare their mac and cheese to pork barrel down the road.

We ordered carry out, and the General Manager, Lauren, hand delivered it to us in our car! Food was delicious. The ribs were so tender, and the brisket was the best we’ve had. Thank you for providing us with such kind service and great food. We will be back.
