Before going to show property in Mountain Grove we decided to have breakfast here. We’d both noticed it was usually busy so it must be good. The food was really good. Hubby enjoyed the biscuits and gravy and I had an omelet with everything! The biscuits were delicious, very fluffy and large! The waitress was very accommodating in making it how I wanted as well as bringing extras I requested. She was very busy as she was the only one waiting tables but she did a great job. If I had one complaint would be the hash browns had an odd flavor but they said they had a new vendor. Might ask if they got it figured out before ordering them. They were still good, something was just off. Prices are a little high on the omelet but I’m sure they are keeping as low as possible.

Great food and lots of It. Homemade country cooking! Short staffed and our new waitress was trying but was obviously inexperienced. Big help wanted sign in the window shows that they are trying to get more help to fix the problem. This is my new place to have breakfast and I will return regularly.

I had never been there before today. First off, the waitress gave me plenty of time to study the menu as I drank my Mtn Dew she brought me right away. I saw her looking my way to see if I was ready as she took care of the other customers. I ordered open-faced roast beef with a salad and a roll on the side and apple pie with ice cream. It was the tenderest roast beef I have EVER had in a restaurant or Cafe. The REAL mashed potatoes were really real and seasoned jut right. The homemade hot yeast roll was twice the size I had expected and it made me think of my Grandma. The apple pie did not come out until I told her I was ready. It was hot and the ice-cream was cold. Just like it should be. The pie crust was obviously home made and delicious! I HIGHLY recommend eating here if you like delicious country folk food. I will be going back every time I get the chance.

This is the greatest restaurant! I always order breakfast and the food is fantastic! Everything is homemade the sausage gravy is great! Portions are big and prices are average. Very friendly staff and easy to joke with. Great place! Come see for yourself!

Very very good will be going back way more often everything is home made besides obvious things but it’s very good “Grandma” type food they give you ok plenty of time to order and make sure you are not hungry before you leave. Very friendly and recommend it to everyone to go try it it will become a weekly thing to go eat at!!!

I wasn’t super impressed. The food was okay, if you order breakfast. I ordered the pork nachos and could only take two bites. The chips where stale and the pork tasted a few weeks old.
