This place was dead when we went there, only 3 tables were occupied. The place had distinct strong smell which was making us very uncomfortable. There was only 1 server. I wanted to order steak but she told me that they didn’t have steaks for the night. So I ordered seared salmon which came out bland, I had quinoa and spinach that came along. The marinara pasta with chicken was just okay. Their pita bread and hummus was delicious and the drink name southern side was very good. I would not like to go at this place again cuz of the environment. Although they have 4 restaurants at this property but everything else was closed and this was the only restaurant available open until 10pm.

We arrived at 11:35am for lunch to use our dining credit from the hotel stay. We were told we could order, or wait for the lunch buffet that would be open at 12PM and were shown the buffet menu. The kids wanted the buffet. So we waited. And were excited. 12pm rolled around and it wasn’t open. We waited. Only a few more minutes right? At 12:15pm it wasn’t open. We waited more. Here we are an hour later, at 12:40pm and the lunch buffet is still not open. The kids have been good up until now but boredom and hunger are fast setting in. At this point, even if we order we are probably looking at at least a 20 min wait for our ordered food to cook. We are hungry, still have a long drive ahead, an unused credit and this is turning out to be miserable. We will probably leave miserable and hungry if the food is not ready in the next 10 mins. Who doesn’t have a lunch buffet ready at lunch time? The setting is pretty but the experience has been awful. Our waitress did her best.

My wife and I had breakfast at the Waterside restaurant within the Marriott hotel at Stone Mountain and absolutely loved it. The quality of the food. The friendliness of the staff. The View. Everything made this a memorable moment for us.

We stayed in a resort wherein Waterside restaurant is their main one and open daily. The food is pricey, very limited selection, and slow service. We tried their breakfast, lunch and diner. Price is not worth for the food quality and long wait. I gave an additional 1star rating for on our last night of stay, my son had fever, i was able to order from their nice staff some fruit and toast snacks while their kitchen is about to close. A huge shout out to Shewit for the kind accomodation and excellent customer service.

We had diner last night and service was extremely slow even when the place was quite empty, we had to call the server many times to bring the drinks, bread and dressings, food was good, decided to give another try and today we showed up waited at the table for more than 17 minutes and even call the server and no one showed up, we left, no one cared to come to the table.

Dinner was absolutely delicious. We had the rigatoni, Turkey club and French dip. For the French dip, the au juis sauce barely covered the bottom of the ramekin. We also had the breakfast buffet here, and it was less than average. No omelet station due to covid, but we still had to stand in line to be served. So what’s the difference? Not enough staff?. $16 was way too much for this ‘buffet’. Nothing I got was hot. The best part of breakfast was the guy serving everyone at the buffet. I think his name was Everald. He had THE best personality and was so pleasant. The lady in front of us was NOT happy about no omelets and he handled it so well and professional.
