I had my lunch here on a Saturday noon, and this place was not that busy.

One of my favorite things about this place is the ordering window. When you place your order, all of the components are ready behind the counter. The staff prepares and serves your bowl before your eyes, so there is practically no wait time. I had the Curry Nikutama – soft, creamy, savory. I love the balance in this dish, in addition to the soft-boiled egg, tempura flakes, and green onions. I would visit much more often if the commute was closer.

If they had one of these in Fort Worth, I’d have a serious, delicious problem. I loved this place so much!! I like that you get to see the food on the line before you order. They offer tempura and korokke and other side dishes you can add. It’s somewhat cafeteria style, but it was quick and easy to go to. The udon noodles were thick and tender, and the broth was full of umami! I highly recommend if you’re an udon fan in the Carrollton area.

One of the best in North Texas area. Always good, always consistent and friendly service. Next best thing other than visiting the Waikiki location

Been here about a dozen times and could not get over how good the Nikutama bowl is. On the days that I do want to try something else, the curry nikutama is a good substitute.

Solid udon place. I got the Nikutama. It was a little bit too sweet and the broth was very strong. But overall for the price ($12.15 before tax), really not bad. You can also add on tempura for additional costs. My friend was a little disappointed because the tempura wasn’t that fresh. We did come close to closing though

I got a regular donkotsu udong and it was a right amount portion and taste was perfect. The soup is flavorful yet might be better if has more deep flavor. I was amazed that shrimp was so fresh especially the dredge was so fresh and crisp!! Highly recommend

Best place to try udon noodles and other Japan dishes. Freshly made and cooked while you wait. Staff are polite and gave away asian vibe. Love it!
