Made a reservation for an early dinner. We were the only ones there for a while, so really let us soak up our surroundings. So very happy we chose this restaurant out of all the great restaurants in Natchez.

We made a reservation and we sat down immediately. However from the time we ordered our entree until it was actually set on the table took 1 hr 43 minutes. We ordered a medium rare steak and chicken Alfredo. These aren’t complicated meals. It seemed as if our food ticket got lost since larger tables that arrived way after us were served food sooner. We smiled the entire time and acted as if it was okay every time the waitress came by to apologize. She knew it was taking way too long as well. At least she did take off our two drinks from the ticket. There is only 2 chefs. They should know that a busy Saturday night cannot handle on 2 chefs. Food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t so good that it was worth the wait. The waitress was lovely though!

On June 8 we had the rehearsal dinner for our sons wedding at the Kitchen Bistro. It was truly a 5 star event! Beautiful atmosphere – elegantly casual, or casually elegant! Perfect for our large group. The piano music was superb! The service was polite and efficient and very attentive.

Very elegant atmosphere balanced with an inviting, down-to-earth approach by staff! My boyfriend and I celebrated our 1st anniversary here, and we were stuffed full by the food because it was absolutely amazing and delicous as well. There is a little bit of a wait time, so a reservation is reccommended if you’re in a bit of a hurry. But overall GREAT experience!! 🙂

We were happily surprised with the food. Everything was delicious. The menu was a little surprising as it offered mostly seafood options, but that was fine with us as this is our preference anyway. Caesar salads were very tasty even though they were not the classic Caesar you would expect and the dressing had a real kick to it. I had barbecue shrimp pasta which was deliciously spicy and creamy (not what I expected from the name of the dish but it was delicious nonetheless) and my husband loved his seared tuna. Our waitress wasn’t up to par, unfortunately. She couldn’t tell us anything about the dishes. Then she asked if we would have dessert as we had just started eating our entrée, and when we said we wouldn’t she brought out the check as we were still eating. Bad form, and probably lack of training. We would however come back for the food.

What a wonderful place! The food was over the top good, the staff super friendly, and Mike was creating some amazing cocktails while washing dishes in between. The piano music was the perfect backdrop, enjoyed talking with the other patrons. While we were sitting here, we’ve already booked Sunday brunch.

Very good atmosphere and food. If you are looking for an upscale dining experience in Natchez this is the place. The chef’s experience alone is worth a visit. We opted for drinks, appetizers and dessert only. All were top notch. Pictured is the bananas foster and blueberry bread pudding. We ordered a 2nd bananas foster for the table it was so delicious!!

Very nice place with very nice people. The food looks and tastes fabulous. I went here for the end of the songwriters festival and I love the piano bar in the back very nicely decorated and intimate. I’m very much looking forward to my next visit. Special thanks to Kat and Carly for rehydrating me after a long Saturday night lol.

Absolutely amazing food and service. Ashley was THE BEST…with spot-on recommendations from here and the area. All had attentive attention to detail. We were blessed to interact extensively with the Chef who prepared the meals in an open setting while he shared personal stories and libations with us! We are coming back!

We took our 2 young children last night and had an absolute blast. We moved here from Denver being food and music junkies already, and The Kitchen is now going to be a habit. It was phenomenal, the food was crazy good and I’m pretty sure the kids playing piano is an alien….I couldn’t convince you how good he truly is, you have to go see him play, he’s amazing. Please tip him! I gave my kids the only cash I had to put in the tip jar, which was otherwise shockingly empty. The staff are really cool as well, our server was amazing and the cook is a magician. There is no chance of not having a blast there, most fun I’ve had since we moved here.
