Definitely glad we stopped here! Not many places in Michigan know how to good BBQ, but this is a place that does it right. You can tell the love and joy the owners get from putting together this food. We got all the meats and nothing let us down. The smoke on the meat was very subtle and not overpowering. Ribs were very tender and slid off the bone. Brisket was top notch. Smoked chicken and pulled pork were delicious. The cheesy potatoes were very unique and worth exploring. The mac and cheese was very well put together. BUT THE CORNBREAD!!!!!! DELICIOUS!!!!! Overall this is a great place to eat and highly recommend to anyone in the area or even going out of your way.

We had the Beef Brisket Meal with Coleslaw, Fries and a Roll. We also tried the Baked Beans. This is one if the Best Smoked Meats I’ve ever had. It is awesome and just melts in your mouth. Everything was delicious. The coleslaw is really good. We like that it’s so close. We will definitely be eating here again. Yum

This is place is unbelievable!!! Only been here once but had the Brisket, and it was simply incredible! The flavor, bark, smoke ring, and tenderness was all there and more. This is a must try and well worth the journey!

This guy was selling a 1/2 chicken he only gave a thigh, a breast, and a leg. He said the half chicken don’t come with a wing. Sorry sir, that’s a 3/8 chicken. Next time I order the same thing weeks later I got something completely different. This time it was an actual half chicken with much smaller proportions. At least it’s real chicken now and not hormone bloated meat. Inconsistent!

Great place. I set high standards for bbq. Bc too often especially up in michigan bbq is not good. But this place does it right. I’ve tried pulled pork, brisket, and kielbasa and all of it is phenomenal. Cornbread is extra delicious too. Portion size is perfect.
