We were out for a fall colors ride and stopped by for lunch. It’s a great little restaurant in cedar mountain. I had a burger and my wife had the fried bologna sandwich. Freshly cooked. This is not fast food place (note welcome sign picture). The food was good so I would say that it was worth the wait. The staff was great . Seems they do breakfast through supper so stop by when in the area.

Food was Delicious and the Staff was so sweet! Great Home Cooked good fresh and HOT. Really good Ice Cream and you can pay $25 and sift through sand buckets and get gems in back. Kids LOVE!

Found this place on the way back home from a French Broad River float and decided to try it for dinner. So glad we did! The service was great and friendly! The food was even better! Me and oldest son had beef tips over white rice w/ a side of fried okra and youngest son had a huge burger w/ really good fries. Our server, Chleo, said the cook puts love in her food and you could tell, it was very good! I even bought a fused glass bowl w/ little blue wildflowers in it made by a local artist for my wife. I will definitely go back!

8/5/23 Stopped in after hiking in the area. So glad we did. My son and I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. The staff is wonderful. We will be making this a regular place to go to when we’re in the area.

We went to eat and waited for a table, no one acknowledged us for the 10 minutes we waited. We ended up leaving after one of the staff was extremely rude to another patron. Told her she could go somewhere else if she didnt want to wait. The lady wasn’t even rude to her or upset, she didn’t deserve that treatment at all. Was a very negative experience. We were a family of four so you lost out on our patronage because of your employee. I get that staff gets frustrated, especially when shortstaffed but that was uncalled for. We would have gladly waited without complaint but her attitude was a total turnoff.

I never leave marks, persay! I must say the waitress staff was very useful and helpful, except for one mishap no worries. but after three hours of waiting for my food that came it was an edible very dissatisfied. Have a party of 12 or so. unfortunately, I will never be back to this place again. They deeply need to work on their kitchens preparation’s.!!!!!! and do not serve food that has an edible you got three of a sick!

Cashier or cooks totally disregarded our vegetarian restrictions and food took forever with barely anyone eating there… people were sweet but when you have meat restrictions on your trip and thats the food you bought for the night after a long car ride… not sure if well be back.

We came up from Powdersville, SC to visit the Cedar Mountain Pottery store and knew when we read “shaded outdoor seating”, we had to come by and enjoy a rare 70°F day in August. Had I known the paddycake stack with three strips of bacon and two eggs would be worth my money, I might’ve opted for the shortstack plate. I have NEVER seen pancakes this big and thick before, and the edges were crunchy! My life had been changed! lol Husband had Debbie’s Choice and it was sublime; the gravy has a secret ingredient that gave the gravy an almost floral uplift, like there were lavender honey in it. It was a notch above and we were too shy to ask the cook about it, since we might feel compelled to hug them. Feeders by the railings gave us visits from fairy-sized hummingbirds that danced around as we listened to the mountain tranquility in between cars passing on the highway like a swoosh. Their store also had some items I had never seen, like Dravite and the purple copper turquoise. Their stones/jewelry featured here are beautiful and priced for mountain convenience, not so much if you live in a competitive suburban market.
