We just ordered from JD’s for the first time to try something new for dinner and we will definitely be back! The rib tips were good, but their honey mango jerk chicken bowl was phenomenal! Portion sizes were more than fair. We got two meals and the bowl and split with our two teen boys. There was still some of the bowl we were able to save as leftovers. Thank you for the fantastic meal!

Ordered thru Uber Eats on 12/18/22 and got the Turkey Fries and large Tip and wing meal. This was my first time ordering here and i was not happy! The turkey fries didn’t come with the cheese sauce or the green onions that it says come with the fries. The turkey tasted off and funny. Leaves a weird after taste. The fries were soggy from the watery sauce. My fiancé said the rib tips were ok but soaked in sauce. The chicken was ok as well. I hate leaving bad reviews but this was nothing like the previous reviews stated. I also heard that they were really really good.

So my mom told me about a new BBQ spot that sold turkey as we don’t eat pork. I read the reviews before we went there, some were good, some were bad… I’m open to my own experience with new restaurants especially Black own ones. So we came in last night and the 1st thing my fiancé and I notice was the unfriendly man taking our order… he acted bothered when we asked for multiple items on the menu that weren’t available. I already had my mind set on the mango jerk chicken bowl and it was available so I was happy about that. I must say… it was waaayyyy too salty! I couldn’t eat but a few bites, now I love food that is well seasoned but this was just salty. My fiancé ordered 10 wings, they were ok but the Turkey link was soft like it was boiled not bbq’ed. This establishment doesn’t take cash but didn’t mention that until AFTER he took our cash and didn’t have any change to give back! SMH…I’m not pleased over all but will come back one more time just to patronize to see if the food and welcoming experience is different because I understand sometimes days and people are off.

Avoid this place.. I ordered 2 wing & tip combos. Wow, just wow. The worst. You should be ashamed. Rubbery I am guessing microwaved the meat just smells off. We each ate 1 rib tip I was adventurous and tried the cole slaw. No I do not want a free meal. I will be happy if I don’t get sick from this one. Wow.

I ordered here a couple days ago. I called my order in and was told they were only accepting cash. Once arrived I found out they did not have change for $20 rim and required exact change. I though of just going somewhere else but instead I went down the street to the store and broke the bills by buying a soda. I ordered turkey tips and beef got link. The turkey tip were not good to me. It was a first time try. I am a lover of turkey but not of tips. The taste was funny. That had nothing to do with the restaurant but not a taste for me. I have turkey tips to my significant other and they didn’t like the taste either. I will try the beef next time. The hotlink and fries were okay. I believe this is a new business so I will give them time to get a card machine and have proper change. I will patron again for beef tips.

Ordered the rip tip and wings dinner large. Tips were I believe microwaved super rubbery. Wings and fries soggy.just didn’t seem fresh to me. Was really looking forward to this place being good as it was also my first time. Guy at the front was just disrespectful,did not care almost seemed annoyed that I was ordering. Kid in the back cooking caught on and finished helping me with my order. Maybe il try it again in the future. Maybe I just caught a bad time to go..

When walked in the store room smelt like bad pipes. Very empty, looked liked they are going out of business. Rib tips were like rubber and dry. The link was just a polished sausage that was dry and almost uncooked, very nasty flavor.

Ordered the rib tips, they came with fries, cole slaw and a slice of bread. Grubhub delivered it quickly, it was still hot (at 2am!), and tasted fresh. Excellent portion size for the price and still great quality. I would definitely order again.
