My first time trying the place. Plenty folks came in for the ribs so I assumed they must be good. The ribs actually were delicious, the sides not so much, the potatoe salad was nasty with way too much mayo, couldn’t even tell what was in it. Mac and cheese had a funny aftertaste. Service was inconsistent because as a first time customer I was watching everything, The young lady that took my order did not mention the meal deals or sauce selection as she did with the customers that came after me. I would return for the ribs but no sides

I was extremely disappointed!! I came here a few years ago from Florida! And my first experience was absolutely amazing this was in 2021! Best ribs i had ever had in my life, blogged, posted about it!!! We love bbq and love to support local businesses and black owned businesses!! We spent about $65 first time and even bought a couple slabs of ribs back to Florida for people taste! This time coming up from Florida that was the first stop we made like it, was in the plan Frist thing, first stop! We did, we were sooo excited! We were like ok it’s busy that’s good! We ordered the food very crowded, felt like it was a bit dingy but whatever as long as the food was great again I’m happy! We waited about 25 plus minutes. We get to the hotel so we can eat and shower after a 14 hour drive super excited to have tender rib! Posted about it, blogged about it! I was soooooo disappointed i wanted to cry! The sauce was great, greens weren’t bad, mac and cheese had hardly any cheese in it! You could taste the sour cream, cream cheese, and very little cheddar wasn’t cheesey at all not much flavor or cooked to makecheese melt! The ribs had absolutely no flavor or seasoning on it and we had burnt, i mean burnt peices i have pictures but for some reason it won’tlet me post them. The brisket definitely wasn’t moist or lean it was chewy very fatty and again no season or flavor! We spent $65 and was very disappointed!!! 🙁

The food was outstanding!!! I ordered the half smoked chicken plate with macaroni and cheese and collard greens. I asked for spicy barbecue sauce which they put on top. So if you’d prefer your sauce on the side request it. Everything was awesome. The customer service was good as well, even though I think they forgot about me. Overall a great experience and I will visit again when in the area.
