We stumbled upon this quaint little restaurant by chance, and we’re so glad we did. It is now one of our favorites! They have wonderful service and the food is delicious. Our favorite dishes are Fried Spring Rolls, Thai Fried Rice (with Vegetables or Chicken) and Green Curry with Chicken. It usually doesn’t take long to get our food, and yet it always tastes like they took their time preparing it.

A hidden gem, in a corner of a small strip of stores, among UPS, dollar store and a CBD store, is where you find Jen Thai Cuisine. Upon entering you can tell locals love this place. 3 tables were already occupied with folks enjoying their dinner. As my friend and I were seated, there were plenty more people coming in to pick up their carry out orders. The place is cozy, clean slightly needing more light although one can argue it’s dimly lit for the ambiance.

WOW! Growing up on Thai food, this is the BEST Thai spot I’ve found here in years!!! Huge portions, enough to feed 4. Spring rolls were very fresh. Chicken skewers were very juicy. Fried rice was to perfection! Soft & fluffy, not dry. Pad Thai was delicious, so full of flavor! Everything was amazing! Even Mr. “I don’t want Thai food” ate half my plate because it was so yummy! 1st time here, ordered delivery. So impressed, we’re going to try again in person. I really recommend it here.

I’m not the biggest fan of Thai food, I’ll admit. This place, however, is really fantastic. The staff are friendly and attentive, the food came out super quick, and everything I had was delicious. I tried the Evil Jen Fried Rice at a medium spice level and it was great! Very excited to return and try their other dishes.

Stopped in before heading to a concert, and was not disappointed. Some of best Thai food I’ve had in the area (Hampton Roads, so a pretty large region) and I will most certainly be headed that way again. Portions were enough for two, with attentive, swift, and courteous dine in service. I prefer a slightly more formal dining experience, but it will absolutely not stop me from risking tunnel traffic to eat there again. We might even bring more people next time.

Cool and rainy evening called for some spicy food and Thai food was our choice. This was the first time trying out Jen Thai so we weren’t sure what to expect. Ordered steamed dumplings, green curry and pad thai with shrimp. The dumplings were tasty but a bit hard so hopefully they can improve this item. Green curry and the pad thai was phenomenal. Loved the pad thai presentation. The guy serving us was very polite and gentle and that added positive vibes to the overall experience. Will definitely recommend this place to others and will go back another time.

The food is fresh and good. They have Vegan and healthy dishes options. I got the lunch Thai Fried Rice with Shrimp and spring rolls to go. Surprisedly I got large plump shrimp. The food lined with foil kept the rice nice and hot. The rice and shrimp was so flavorful and good. The spring rolls cabbage was not over cooked. They are quick, 10 minute wait. Will be trying mixed veggies and rice noodles dish next time.

Mediocre at best but I come from DC area where Thai food taste better. The larb gai was excellent even though it’s not on the menu and made for me at request. The panang curry was not as steam hot and creamier then others I have had. Wonton soup broth was good but the dumplings where hard and can tell was frozen. Springs rolls was ok but they give you barely any sweet chili. I wanted to try to fry rice but looking at the pictures I felt I would be disappointed.

The spring rolls, Tom Kha soup, and Pa Ram were delicious! But we were disappointed by the Pad Thai because it was a little mushy and lacking flavor. I got my daughter the Thai tea which was bright orange but she said it was delicious like ice cream.
