Killer experience here! We came right when the restaurant opened, and right away I was impressed by the vibe of the space and friendliness of the staff. We had the Buta Bura, Salmon Lady II, and Duck Nikuman Buns. Everything was fantastic, and I loved the sake I had as well (Hatsumomiji Harada Junmai). I do think the sushi is quite pricey for what you get, but otherwise a perfect experience! Highly recommend.

So happy they’re open again! Also Omasake!! Both the nigiri one and the sashimi one were on point. We also got the octopus tempura and the wagyu beef which were both also amazing. I also loved the ambiance of then place. Just was a bit sad they don’t have any dessert..

Was recommended this place by a couple of Portlanders, did not disappoint. Excellent small plates for a fair price. Definitely the best meal we’ve had on our Maine trip. We loved the duck breast in particular.

Underwhelming at best … We specifically reserved to sit at the sushi counter for omakase. Instead, we were seated in a corner at the drink bar where we could not see the sushi chef (or really anything other than a blank wall) at all who was at a different counter. The “omakase” which is priced as such, was no more than a plate with the sushi served to us by the bar tender who did not know which fish was which….

What an absolute great experience this trip has been! The food was upscale, decadent, and full of mouthwatering deliciousness! The variety of the dishes were unexpected, well thought out, and exceptional. We got the chance to sit at the bar area, beside the chefs preparing the dishes. It was equivalent to dinner and a show. I feel spoiled and fear no other place can or will compare…guess I just need to go again to treat myself! Until I come back….wait for me!!

amazing and delicious food! everything was super fresh and tasty. i ordered the salmon lady roll, hamayaki (sooooo good!!!! especially with the lobster), and ebi katsukuri. everyone was also very sweet. i wish i could give more than 5 stars. will be coming again 🙂
