I love DQ’s ice cream! I have always been pleased with the service I receive. The store is pretty clean. Yesterday when I was there I noticed that a cooler, of which you can see all four sides, was rather dirty. Ya know the kind made by little fingers covered with ice cream. I brought it to the attention of a staff member. And I feel certain that had I gone in today, it would be cleaned.

So call to order a cake yesterday and the girl on the phone was clueless… should’ve known then this would be a disaster. Anyway, order a cake but I was told I had to pick it up today before 5 because they close and aren’t open Saturday or Sunday. Ok no biggie I’ll be there. Leave work to go pick up my cake I get there only to be told we couldn’t make that cake. WOW no one could call me to let me know… oh that’s right the girl who specifically asked someone if I could order a cake and they told her yes, FORGOT to take a phone number. I know it’s hard to find good help these days, but you better try again because apparently the staff is incompetent. So, now day before a birthday party and no cake. Will be taking our business to Youngsville DQ which is excellent!

If you don’t mind the long wait times, and crowded, outdated facilities, they do have good burgers and fries. Obviously their ice cream is decent too, but they take quite a while to make it. And you are better off getting it “to go” because it’s always dirty in here and so packed you can’t find a place to sit anyhow. And if you have to use the restroom, do yourself a favor and DON’T! They are tiny, dark, smelly, and even creepy! This place needs a major update. It may be a nice place if it had newer, modern facilities that could keep up with the crowd that is always here. Until then, good food, but just be aware of the rest of the things I mentioned.

Service is friendly, speed is adequate. The dining room is in dire need of a remodel – uneven floors, old rusty coolers in the middle of the restaurant, with seating behind it and the wall, and an awkward access to the rear seating. The restrooms are downright scary like a gas station bathroom at night!

This place was nice . It was very busy when we got there almost 745 and closes at 800 . The staff was very nice and waited for every one to order .they went above and beyond and patiently waited until every one left . Then shut the open sign off .food was good . Thank u dairy queen.
