The sushi rolls are amazing! Tasty and melt in your mouth. Different flavors blend together perfectly. The presentation was beautiful. The spicy ramen was just ok- tasted like the Korean instant noodles but that wasn’t their specialty and it was kind of what I expected.

I don’t know why we insist on trying to find sushi in the desert, but we did and once again were disappointed. The place was busy inside, so we sat out on the “patio” strip at the front. The server didn’t even bother to turn the lights on at dusk until we asked her to and all the other tables were full. The tempura (lobster, veg, and shrimp) was ok but not super crispy, and tasted like old oil that’s been cycled in the fryer for some time. Our kids had udon, and while I understand wanting to be quirky or different, it was served in a metal, non-stick sauce pot that remained way too hot for them to touch. Who knows, it could have come directly off the stove. Thankfully my kids were old enough to manage (6 and 9) but this really isn’t a good idea. As for the sushi, our server reassured us that they serve “real” sashimi that aren’t just little slivers of fish, which is what we’ve experience before. I dont think they know how sashimi should be served because it was still below standards. It was tough to bite and chew as it wasn’t the proper cut, and placing bad slices in a rose doesn’t hide it. Then our other order of a fancier roll was completely forgotten, they put it back in the queue once we told them, and yet we still never got it after 20 minutes, so we just decided to cancel it and leave, with a big bill that was so not worth it. Needless to say, we hit up a McDs on the way home since we were still hungry. I hope the restaurant takes this critique in a positive way to make improvements because the desert needs a decent place to go to!!

Had a great meal. The staff was both friendly and attentive. Fish was fresh and tasty. We had the orange blossom roll which was delicious and beautifully presented. We had a very good experience, left full at a very reasonable price. If you are visiting desert hot springs and love sushi, this is an excellent option!!!!

Local gem. I was very impressed by the sushi here at Sushi Domo. The staff is always friendly and helpful. If you enjoy having conversations with PEOPLE, you can count on a friendly atmosphere here. I always sit at the sushi bar and I usually dine alone so it’s nice to walk into an inviting atmosphere where the staff is friendly enough to engage in conversations with their customers. Try it out. You won’t be disappointed.

Its good. Four stars is my minimum for acceptable rating at any restaurant. For the price everything is within line of my expectations and I will eat here again. There is nothing mind blowing here but its leagues better the “best sushi” across the street and it is the best option without a 20 minute or more minute drive into PS.

I eat sushi regularly and recently visited Domo for the first time. The space itself is unimpressive but clean. It’s not a “fancy” sushi restaurant but the food was really excellent. They have some amazing and unique rolls on the menu and everything was fresh. It’s worth a trip out of your way to sample one of the best sushi restaurants in the desert.
