I appreciate that they have vegetarian options. The food I got was good, and the prices are inexpensive. I got the VegiMax sandwich. It was fine but nothing to write home about, and the bread was disintegrating when they served it to me which meant the sandwich as a whole didn’t hold together. The cookies were very good though. I got the sugar cookie and sprinkle cookie. The individual cookies were $0.95 each.

Ate lunch there today and it was awesome! Had a scrambled dog that was a nice sized all beef frank. The chili and other toppings were delicious. I also had a small Trifecta on a cheese jalapeño bread. Generous portions of sandwich meat on that fresh baked bread was very good! Definite 2 thumbs up! Place was very clean as was the men’s restroom. Definitely check this place out if you are in Hamilton!

Breaking bread is my spot! My kids and I go frequently. The food is as fresh as can be and of course that makes the food top notch. It’s always very clean as well. The staff is as good as gold. After my daughter had a softball game she wanted a 6 inch sub. We stopped at Subway since it was closer because we only had 15 minutes before each establishment closed. Subway had already locked the doors..So we go to Breaking Bread and the young ladies and men were happy to make her a sandwich. It just really shows a lot if you ask me. I will for sure continue to frequent this location.

I have always enjoyed the food at Breaking Bread even when it was Blimpie because it was fresh and the atmosphere was welcoming. Today my experience was different. I asked for a chicken salad that I thought I would be able to customize since I have always done so in the past, however, I asked for hard boiled egg and they said it wasn’t available on my salad selection so I asked if they would add it and charge me an upcharge. They said no, they couldn’t do that. Then I asked for a cup of ice because I had my tumbler in my car with water already and wanted to freshen it and they said I had to buy a drink for full price. I was surprised that they have become so rigid and the result is making the customer feel unwelcome and awkward. I have no problem paying additional charges for a cup (maybe .50) or an egg but to be told NO just feels disappointing. I hope there can be some reflection in the policies and new ways to incorporate customer service.

I usually order the deluxe club on parmesan bread. I love going in and feeling like they’re happy to see me. They have great customer service and have recently broadened their menus to include scrambled dogs/ hot dogs. My children enjoy the pizzas.

I ordered a spinach wrap. It was my 1st time there and it was very good. The ladies were kind and prepared the order quickly. It got really busy right after we ordered. It was yummy.
