Our waitress was lovely and the environment was very nice. We ordered the mozzarella sticks as our appetizer and they were unlike any mozzarella stick I’ve had before. They lacked a little flavor but the cheese was so weirdly soft, I liked it and thought it was nice cause I’ve never had a cheese stick that stayed soft through the whole time eating it. My partner ordered the Ceasar salad and I ordered the lasagna. My partner said her salad was decent and while I loved the flavor of the lasagna, I thought it was very mushy. The texture threw off the experience cause the flavors were great. Overall not a bad experience.

With no preconceived notions, we stumbled upon Venice Kitchen for lunch today. The atmosphere is friendly and well in keeping with what you’d expect from a square adjacent Oxford restaurant. The decor is pretty unassuming, which immediately indicates that the food is the focus. The French 75 is one of their menu-listed cocktails, and it does not disappoint. Light on the garnish and easy on the syrup, this one falls into the recommended category. The warm fresh bread with butter was an unrequested delight. The mozzarella sticks are not the usual thawed and fried version you expect. They’re more the size of pecan logs. The cheese more than compensates for a bland marinara. Salad for me, chicken parm for my companion. We left stuffed. Their pizza menu lists lots of great possibilities. We will be back.

Service was great. Ordered a pizza well done and when someone from the kitchen brought it out it was like soup. Looked nothing like the pizzas in the pics on Google or in the restaurant. Server took care of it, had it re-made and she was awesome. This was my first visit and will probably be the last seeing how they brought put what they thought was acceptable to serve to customers and it fell waaayyy short.

First time visiting Old Venice. Upon walking in my group was greeted and seated pretty fast. I ordered the Pasta Maria. It is penne noodles with goat cheese, red sauce, and chicken. It was definitely different than any other pasta. My friends had pizzas and they loved it! Our server was very nice and she checked on us very often.

We went to the bar. There was gnats everywhere. It smelled weird. He made us margaritas and there was stuff in the bottom of the tequila bottle pretty sure bugs and Termana Tequila does not have residue in the bottle. Their liquor and wine selection was limited at the bar. Also on the menu – there was cocktails with “Champagne” an it was Andre. Andre is sparkling wine. I would not recommend to ever go to this bar. If the bar is like this who knows how terrible the food is

The upstairs of this place is called the Summit. This place is a small bar with a ski lodge decor. There is a small patio that looks out towards the square. The pizza is Napoletana style. The Buffalo Chicken pizza is my favorite. They had some awesome specials for a Saturday. $10 bottomless Mich Ultra. The bartenders are nice guys and very entertaining.

Being second generation Italian american from Northeast NJ eating in many italian restaurents all the way up to Boston I was plesently suprised how good the food was. I had the chicken parm it was a bit burnt on the outside not much cheese on top (hence four stars) with a spaghetti alfrado side that was amazing along with a side caesar salad that was also very good… The dinner rolls were OK.
