This is the Spot. I went here last Saturday (my first time) and was surprised at how great the food was. I had the Shrimp, catfish, fries, and fried green tomatoes. The Hubs had the Seafood platter with fries and he got some gumbo. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The shrimp was my favorite. It’s a little hole in the wall, but overall not bad. Go check them out!

Gumbo came in a carry out container like it was made from home it was disgusting. Fish tasted like old grease. No one came to ask how was the food or anything . THIS IS NOT SEAFOOD. My child cooks better.

When they opened I stopped in to try them out. Ordered a fish sandwich from a teenager who didn’t seem to know what world he was in. Waited and relieved two slices of white bread with a fish filet inside. No mayonnaise, no tartar sauce, no pickle, tomato, lettuce nor an apology. I thought maybe the owner was absent. Last week I stopped (out of curiosity) and asked for the same fish sandwich and got the exact same results. Pitiful!!!

The food was delicious, especially the coleslaw. I ordered flounder, as I am allergic to shellfish. My party ordered shrimp, and crab legs. Waitress a little forgetful. When in area again will come back. Friends were angry cause they missed the treat.

I got the Big Shrimp Dinner (8 Shrimp) with Hush puppies, Fried Okra and Coleslaw with sweet tea. I can’t complain as everything was cooked perfectly. But I recommend that you swap out the coleslaw as it was missing that seasoning. Our server was wonderful with a great personality and continued to check on us and ensured that our drinks were never empty. Price wasn’t too bad as I paid around $20 and left full. Recommend you stop by!

The catfish was a little thin and salty. The service was decent also. I wish the waitress had told me about the specials. I didn’t realize gumbo was a special until I had already ordered. I certainly would have ordered had I known it was available. Overall the experience was good for lunch.
