Great place! Stopped here for lunch, and it did not disappoint. We had a large party and they were able to seat us rather quickly. One person in our party asked for something soft to sit on, and our waiter ran out to his vehicle and grabbed a blanket for her to sit on! I had the combo scallops and fried clam strips, with fries and a salad. The scallops, hands down, were the best I’ve ever eaten. Not even a close second, and I’ve eaten scallops in many places. Cooked perfectly with great flavor, i highly recommend. I had fried fiddleheads for the first time ever, and I have to say they were pretty good as well. Our drinks never went empty, and our server was absolutely incredible. I will definitely eat here the next time I come back to Maine and visit Belfast. If you haven’t eaten here and you want a good place to eat while visiting Belfast, you need to give this place a try!

We went for a late supper. We waited about 15 minutes to get a table, but it’s expected during the tourist season. It has a real pub feel with a big bar at the entrance. I love the portion of the food. I had so much haddock that I shared it with my daughter. My kids loved the Mac N cheese. They said it was creamy and cheesy. Our waitress was so nice and accommodating.

This time I decided to have the haddock Reuben sandwich. I had their special horseradish coleslaw on the side which may qualify as the best coleslaw I have ever had in my life. I’m so glad this place is close enough by that I can make use of it. I’ll definitely be going back again!

Excellent food and drinks here. I met a lot of the locals here for a fun evening on Cinco de Mayo. The staff and the patrons are all very friendly. They have a variety of food and they have a local treat called fried fiddleheads.

Stopped here for lunch on a whim. SO GLAD that we did. Friendly staff and fun decor. Front st Pub burger is the BEST burger I’ve tasted in a long time. Savory and full of flavor!

The atmosphere more than made up for the lack of skills our waitress had. The bartender took right care of us! The drinks were terrific!

They were very busy so a little slow on getting our food but it was worth the wait. The Tuna blue burger was delicious. It sounded odd but I tried it and glad I did. My side was a bit skimpy but who knows maybe a new cook wasn’t paying attention and went a little light on my cole slaw. Definitely would go back again. Bartender needs to learn how to pour a black and tan.

Combined tavern and restaurant with consistently very good food and service. More crowded and smaller menus in the summer (like everywhere). Ample outdoor seating moves things along at a reasonable pace, while a laid-back atmosphere easily lets folks linger.

Trivia Night is my absolute favorite time to go. But the food and drinks are always good.

Really good food. Music was 1970s calm music, not blasting loud. Very nice atmosphere, casual and perfect. We stumbled across this when visiting from out of state and highly recommend.
