One of the highlights of our Alaskan trip. We caught an absolute perfect day with 74-degree temperatures and clear skies (which apparantly is exceedingly rare in June). We were part of a 6-person tour group for about 8 hours. We saw a huge variety of wildlife and geologic features, as well as learned some history about the area. Our guide was excellent, informative, and helpful. We saw probably close to 400 otters out enjoying the weather, seals, black bear, mountain goats, and many others. Would definitely recommend!

Stopped in the Lazy Otter Cafe for a warm drink for our drive out of Whittier. A very cute cafe with a great view overlooking the harbor. Had several baked items available that looked delicious, as well as some warm food that sounded wonderful. Next time in town I will try their salmon spread however this time we got some warms drinks.

Definitely the part of our trip we were looking forward to the most, and for sure the highlight of our trip to Alaska. We had a private tour with Michelle. We were lucky enough to have a warm, sunny day with flat waters. We saw sea lions, puffins, otters, many birds, Blackstone Glacier, and an awesome waterfall. The kids loved the 2 stops we made. One was a small group of islands, just northeast of Perry Island, and the other was a cove on Decision Point State Park. It was a 6 hour tour, but wish we had 6 more hours. The worst part of the tour is that it had to end. Every minute of it was amazing. The boat had enough seating inside to stay out of the weather if needed, and the outside bow area had enough room to take in the sights. They provided great sandwiches, drinks, and snacks too. I would definitely recommend booking a Lazy Otter tour while in Alaska. Check out the video!

This review is for the Café as I stopped by for a quick breakfast while in Whittier. It was busy as there were a lot of people on tours stopping by, but also seemed like a lot of locals stopped by. Many people were on the go, so most of the about 6 tables were open. Service was very friendly and helpful.

Got some late in the day iced coffee from here, a refreshingly strong cup that tasted great. Friendly staff. This would have been a great little start to the day if we came earlier.

This is AMAZING! Ross and Carlos were the best guides. They taught us so much and were amazing with my 4 year old grandson. The scenery can’t be beat. They know the area like the back of their hand. If you have inclement weather the inside of the boat will keep you dry and warm. They served an amazing lunch of turkey sandwiches, Alaska chips, drinks, and the best packaged cookies I’ve ever had. We had lunch by a glacier. Wow!! If you are in the area definitely look them up. Also check out weather for Whittier. Whittier is not Anchorage. Hahaha. Seriously, look them up.

Had a cappuccino and a salmon toast! Great coffee, and super cute vibe. Toast was meh (not the best bagel) and cinnamon roll too sweet for my taste, but great stop in the morning. Inside is a little cramped but adds to the cute vibe. Bought some beans there that were cool looking

I’ve booked several tours with this company over the last couple of years and they were all perfect. They picked me up from a very remote location in the Prince William Sound (sea kayaks) and did a great job. I frequent their cafe and it’s always good. Highly recommended.

Even in the mist and rain, this is the tour you want to take of Prince ElWilliam Sound. Otters and Sea Luons galore and four glaciers with two off boat beach stops to experience the landscape to its fullest. The lunch, tea and coffee provided was excellent. This was one of the highlights of our Alaskan adventure!

The owner and staff were the friendliest people. I was waiting for a ride from my cruise drop off. They had baggage storage for a VERY valuable price! It was a great view of the port and even saw a whale from the window. If I go back to Whittier, I will DEFINITELY return! Thank you!
