If you want ingredients for authentic Latin food, the Tiendita has them all, beef, pork, chicken, fish and spices, various fruits and vegetables as well as many other household items and medicine. They have very good customer service and good prices.

Here’s the deal. Carthage is 30% Hispanic and the local Latin food scene is literally on point. La Tiendita is a place you visit when you want some hardcore real Mexican food. Tacos, menudo, gorditas, they have it all. It’s a small place and get packed in no time, so make sure you get there early as parking can be a bit of a bleh, but worth it. The owners are so nice and they offer so much more than food. Bread, products for the home, pretty much anything for everyday life. Give it a visit and you will want to come back again and again.

If you’re looking for a bomb quesadilla in Carthage, this is the place to go. They’re packed with lots of meat and cheese and are fantastic. Great prices and customer service. I also saw them making burritos and they looked very big and very good.

The Building May Not Look Like Much from the Outside….. But the Hand Painted Pictures on the Wall, Cleanliness of the Interior, the Decor, and Friendliness of the Staff are AMAZING on the Inside!!!! The Food is Amazingly Tasty and Plentiful…….. It was a Great Experience and Possibly the “Best Mexican Food” I have Tasted in a Very Very Long Time!!!!!
