This is such a unique restaurant and we are very lucky to have it here in KC. Their outdoor patio is on the smaller side, but just lovely. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We appreciated all the food suggestions. Brunch was delicious and the pomegranate mimosa was perfect on a mid summer morning.

What a cool venue! Love the ambiance, the (Turkish) music and the food. The appetizer trio was the bomb (delicious!) and served with fresh grilled, soft pita bread. The pizza did NOT disappoint! No wonder it was voted best pizza. Fire grilled veggies were fun. The beef kebob, not sure I’ll get again. It was a bit dry. I was hoping to order the short ribs of beef however, it wasn’t on the menu that day. Next time I’ll try the short ribs. Yummy drinks and dessert, to boot! We’ll be back….

My brunch at Clay & Fire was both comforting and delightful! This Kansas City hotspot has become increasingly popular for both brunch and dinner, and it’s easy to see why.

Pita and pizza dough were good and chewy, but they got cold very quick and not so fascinating anymore. Dips and pizza were too salty. Surprisingly halloumi was pretty good since it’s my first time trying.

Delivered via Doordash. Cheese was flavorful. Ingredients are obviously quality. I would definitely have them again!! I was picking the meat off because it wasn’t supposed to have any, so the photo isn’t the best.

I have lived several years of my life abroad in several different countries. For the first time since I last arrived in the USA a year ago, eating at this restaurant really made me feel like I was in a foreign country again. The food is authentic. And it is GOOD. The atmosphere is also very interesting.

Can I sing enough praises of this place? I don’t think it’s possible. I’ve been trying to go here for close to a year, after I first drove by late at night and saw the cute little historic house they’re based in and the intriguing name in neon lights. And after googling them, I fell in love with their menu, but their limited hours never seemed congruent with my trips through Kansas City.

Wow! This was an unexpected surprise! In addition to delicious food and drinks, the service and local convos were friendly and wonderful. The food was unique and wildly flavorful. The owner and other locals shared lots of info about the restaurant, cuisine, and KC. Highly recommend! The pic is of the kebabimbap.

This place is a whole vibe, intimate, and the food was fantastic! There is a reason Grandma’s Pie won an award, and don’t get me started on the hummus! Definitely a great date night! The bathroom was really cool too!
