So cool!!! Awesome food awesome bartender, Erin, and I got to meet the Mayor and High School Principal in town. I felt like I was in a scene from Twin Peaks. I can’t say enough about the atmosphere and crowd. An ethnographic portal into small town America. Absolutely awesome and way worth the stop on boat, foot, or car.

Clayton IA—This place was a great find, great ride on the motorcycle to get there (but they have boat access too). Food was great, service matched, great views of the Mississippi. Great price point QUALITY FOOD at price very reasonable. Bloody Mary was darn good. Worth the drive.

Staff was great. We had a family gathering. Probably best thing was the pretzel bites. Food was good and staff was very helpful and pleasant. A great pull in for boats off the river. Pork sandwich was decent. The cucumber and onion side salad was tasty

Hello All! Recently, My family and I tried out a NEW place: Clayton Lighthouse in Clayton, IA VERY PICTURESQUE, (Right Alongside The Mississippi River and Some Railroad Tracks…COOL AND BREEZY!!!) FOOD AND DRINKS WERE VERY DELICIOUS AND PLENTIFUL, AND STAFF WAS VERY NICE!!! 6-3-23. I had the 15 Piece Shrimp Dinner with Fries and Red Mashed Potatoes…YUMM!!! WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!

Enjoyed ourselves today with riverfront seats. Ordered a garbage basket and it was delicious. A shoutout to Erin our waitress and server. Friendly, engaging, and accommodating. A great place to view the Mississippi, kick back, have a drink and devour a sandwich or two!
