One of the best overall dining experiences! Waitress Michelle was welcoming, attentive, genuine, and clearly loves creating the guest experience. True example of luxury service. The food was absolutely delicious. The meatballs, truffle garlic bread, house made pasta, and KC strip is some of the best in Kansas City. The lemon ice cream sandwich was simply divine! You don’t have to like lemon to enjoy this refreshing dessert, the perfect end to the savory dishes. Shout out to Pastry Master Talent Nikki! We can’t wait to come back!!!

My friends and I enjoyed our experience here tonight as we celebrated a birthday! Love the setting, very low light and secluded seating to have intimate dinner together. Our dishes came out on time and we were accommodated for nicely! One of my favorite appetizers was definitely the garlic bread, delicious!!

The papardelle at “The Plate” is truly amazing, setting the bar high for pasta in the city – it’s probably the best around! While the menu selection might be limited, most dishes are expertly prepared and delightful. However, the dessert menu could use some improvement to match the excellence of the main courses. On the bright side, the bar is a standout, with excellent bartenders who craft delightful cocktails. On the downside, the corporate event space is limited, so plan accordingly. But you won’t have to worry about parking, as both covered lots offer plenty of spaces. ️ Overall, “The Plate” is a great dining spot with a few areas for potential growth.

Phenomenal! Food is fantastic! Service is top notch! Alexandria S. was our server ~ she was super attentive, paid extra attention to details and was delightfully friendly! I have a shellfish allergy and the CEO/Owner, Christian Joseph went above and beyond to ensure there was no cross contamination. I was unable to have what I originally ordered as a safety measure. But Christian had something special made (on the house!) in addition to what I eventually ordered. They made us feel like we were royalty and well cared for. It was a superb dining experience and evening. We will definitely be repeat customers! THANK YOU!!! 🙂

We had reservations for dinner during restaurant week and when we arrived, we were seated promptly. The restaurant was pretty full, but it wasn’t too loud. Our waiter did a great job taking care of us and giving recommendations. We started with appetizers of meatballs, Pear Bruschetta and Salmon Crudo. It was a great way to start off our meal. For entrees we had Rigatoni Bolognese, Tuscan Chicken and Salmon. We shared bites and I would order any of the other items next time I come here. I enjoyed the hand made pasta and you could tell they paid attention to details. The dessert was Tiramisu and it was ok, nothing special. Their wine and beer selection is decent. Overall, a great dinner and I recommend to come with some friends and the night will be memorable. I am looking forward to coming back and trying other options on the menu.

My husband and I went here for our anniversary. We ordered the pasta meal for 2 which includes 1 appetizer, 2 pasta dishes, and a dessert for $67 I think. The portions were just right compared to other places. I am on an Aporal Spritz craving right now so I ordered one of those. I wouldn’t recommend it here. Try one of the specialty drinks from the menu. My husband had one and really enjoyed it. The bar area was noisy, but the dining area was quiet enough for conversation. The food was delicious and we will return for pasta for 2 again.

DELISH!! Let’s start with the donuts. The DONUTS! The right amount of sweet and savory to let you know you’ve had a donut, but doesn’t guilt you into feeling like you can’t have anything else to eat. They were fantastic. I had the chicken and risotto. The risotto was creamy and delicious and the chicken was fried to perfection. Others in my party got biscuits and gravy, pizza, and the carbonara. Everyone said their dishes were great. The potatoes that came with the B&G got great feedback, as well. A great place to go with your girls, your fellas, or even by yourself! Check them out. You won’t be disappointed!!
