Based off my personal experience alone I would give this place a 1 star review, however I was with a group and I was the only person who had any real issue with their experience.

Food was delicious and the folks were friendly. I ordered fajitas for two and one of their tamales dishes to go and the food was hot and fresh. Everything was well packaged and came with plenty of chips and dip. I loved the queso dip as well.

Poor customer service. Waited at hostess stand for 5 minutes, after asking to place a to-go order, only to be told that to-go orders are placed with the same person responsible for closing every customer’s ticket. The checkout line had grown by 15 people during that unnecessary 5-minute wait. Why not place to-go orders at the bar, or anywhere else not covered up by customers trying to checkout and leave? Terrible process. Poor overall. Won’t be back.

I live in Texas and wish I could find a restaurant like this in Texas. It was very clean, well decorated with beautiful hand painted murals all over the restaurant. The food tastes absolutely wonderful. The service was great. I definitely will return to this restaurant everytime I come visit. You definitely would want to try this place out. You won’t be disappointed.

Called in order for an avocado salad (note not a single avocado on said salad) and a Texas dip. Got a half a bag of inedible chips for the dip. You’d think on a Saturday fresh chips would be served. Somehow that ended up being $26? Won’t be back. Waste of money

First and last time eating here. Shrimp fajitas were really bad! Shrimp were over cooked but also tasted bad like they were not so fresh or maybe freezer burned? It was awful!

Stopped in with our family as we traveled north on I-55. It was ok; not great…just ok. The chips tasted like they were fried in dirty grease. I had the Special- the shrimp didn’t seem to be fully-cooked, so I didn’t eat them. I will say that the portion sizes are large and the prices aren’t super expensive. My biggest complaint is the cleanliness of the restaurant and friendliness of the staff. There was a really dirty, broken outlet box under my daughter’s chair…I didn’t notice it until we got ready to leave. It looked dangerous. As we walked past the hostess on our way out of the restaurant, I noticed she was smoking some sort of electronic cigarette. This was strange and unexpected. Atmosphere was a bit off. Oh, and they charged automatic gratuity for our family of 8; I would have given a bigger tip, if she hadn’t added that in.

We live in Baton Rouge and got property in McComb about 7 months ago, we went to EVERY Mexican restaurant here and went to El Sombrero last today. It was the BEST service and the BEST food we have had here. Margaritas were on point as well! The atmosphere is amazing too! We are soo impressed with this place and decided that we will be future regulars!!!!

Great food. The question is kinda bland and the flan was more of an uncooked pudding consistency. The quesadilla was awesome.
