people judged me and my family for being ourselves. the atmosphere was depressing. whispering to talk unlike a NORMAL restaurant. the service was slow, the guy tries his hardest. the food was undercooked as the meet of my salmon was pink not red as my father is a chef he didn’t accept it. waste of money with a trash service, and trash food. in the nicest way possible this ruined my day and don’t be expecting me or my family in this restaurant again.

The Village Green has been our go-to restaurant for special occasions. We have been happy patrons for nearly 10 years and they have never disappointed us with the quality of food or service. We love seeing their carefully crafted menu change with the seasons.

Superb service, excellent food. Our server Bob was ultra professional. Appetizer + Main was about $120 for 2 so on the expensive side but we’ll worth it if you want to fine dine. Book reservation before you go.

I went to Village Green on a Saturday evening with two friends. I ordered the pork tenderloin. The overall presentation and taste was excellent. The restaurant affords a very nice casual outdoor dining option for those individuals that would prefer less formal attire in the hot weather. The staff was prompt, attentive, and accommodating.

Great place for a nice dinner with your partner or friends. The food is delicious and is a BYOB. You do need to pay for parking, unless you willing to walk a few blocks up to avoid parking.

Delicious food, wonderful presentation and great service. A must eat in Ridgewood. Don’t miss the Walnut crusted Brie, Crab Beignets, Lamb Ragu and Duck Breast. It’s BYOB so grab a great bottle to make the occasion even more special.

We went for a date night dinner mid-week. We switched from outside seat to an inside one because of threatening rain clouds but I wish we had eaten outside. The inside ambiance is a bit quiet and overly mellow.

This place is extremely overrated. I saw the reviews so I thought I’d stop in. First off, the food is way overpriced for what you’re getting. The presentation is nice but, honestly, I’ve had better tasting food from local delis. Even then, sometimes less than average food can be made up for when the rest of the experience is great. Mine was not. The managers over there, in particular, suck. They had bad attitudes and obviously weren’t interested in customer satisfaction or improving the quality of their workplace. This happens sometimes when restaurants have some hype and get too comfortable. Maybe if they put new people in charge it would have a fighting chance but at the rate they’re going, I wouldn’t be surprised if it closes soon. Don’t bother going.

Amazing food. The duck confit spring rolls and sauce was delightful. I really enjoyed the fried chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and creole sauce.. the peanut butter mousse cake is melt in your mouth amazing!
