I’ve always been a big fan of Chong’s,they have the best egg rolls you can find in the area. My favorite go-to is always the Beef Lo Mein, we tried the lunch portions, which was still a decent portion of food. It’s usually really good, I like theirs because it’s usually not as greasy as other Chinese restaurants, but today it seemed more bland than usual. It was still good, just not the best I’ve had from there.

The service is good, the food is good, but not typical Chinese food. Chong’s was the first/main Chinese restaurant in Paducah decades ago and because of this it is a local favorite. People from out of town often do not like it because the names of the dishes are familiar, but they taste very different. I guess the best way to describe Chong’s is it is “Chinese Food – Paducah style”. The Ham Fried Rice is very good, but if you are wanting Chinese food similar to other Chinese restaurants around the country, look else where. There are now multiple Chinese restaurants in Paducah.

Take out Chong’s is a staple meal for my wife and I and it’s one of our favorite things to get if we don’t feel like cooking. The General Tso’s chicken is soooooo good and the egg rolls are the best in Paducah.

They literally have the best egg rolls ever. We have traveled far and tried egg rolls from all over. These are the best. You must dip them in their sweet n sour sauce. Eat them as soon as you get them for the best experience. I like the fresh, steamy hot crunch with the delicious filling. The food is good too, we just go specifically for egg rolls. I enjoy everything they have on the menu. The shrimp egg foo young is delicious with the fried rice.

Called and asked about how long a take out order took, because the closer chongs was about an hour, they said 20 mins. I placed my order and she said 25 mins. It takes about 15 to get there. My friend goes to pick it up and pays and is told 5 to 10 more mins. Fine lovely… 35 mins later she is having to ask where our food was and they acted like they still had awhile to go on it and didn’t even remember the name. Had we not already paid I would have had her leave. It took 62 mins from time I called. I could have just gone to the closer chongs if I wanted to wait an hour. Still waiting for food to get here and I hope it’s right. Upset children and hungry pregnant woman.

I had a bad experience today. Ordered dinner fir 4 but asked for two ham fried rice and no sweet and sour pork. We got sweet and sour pork and chicken but no ham fried rice. My husband went back, didn’t check bag and only gave us one ham fried rice. I ordered two and all they could say is they didn’t charge me for the rice. I paid for the rice but never got my two orders then found out I was overcharged and they wont answer my phone call

Chong’s is a local favorite. It’s mine too. Unfortunately many other locations have closed…. However this one is still open and still awesome Chinese cuisine. The ham fried rice just can’t be beat!
