Currently they are very busy since they just reopened in the old Anton’s building. At 10:45am they were already full. It’s a small place. Very colorful, adorable, & full of funky decor. Enjoyed a delicious lunch of chili, cheeseburger, & Marci’s kool-aid. Marci was our server. She is such a character & lots of fun. Open Mon-Fri 10:30 to 3pm.

This place has the BEST classic burgers and homemade chili. They recently changed locations and are located off Glenstone now but the food is just as amazing as ever. Definitely worth the wait if you get there and they’re full. (Usually they are cause it’s just THAT good.)

Went Friday & first time at the new location. They were crowded but they turn seats fairly quickly so it was wasn’t too bad a wait. An Army Captain was inline ahead of me so I asked if he minded sitting together & bought his meal (he was a KC native down for weekend training and he’d never been to Casper’s Diner before. Both of us had the cheeseburger (smash-burger) & fries basket and I ordered each of us a side bowl of chili. Both were excellent and James loved the chili. Our waitress was outstanding & she let us know they support Veterans & first responders which is really nice. Yes it’s noisy inside but it’s part of the charm. Unique

This is a little hole in the wall diner but the food was amazing and we left overstuffed with plenty to pack home and it was very affordable. Its a small place but the customer service was fantastic. I would definitely eat there again. The burgers are AWESOME! Very interesting art collections that had conversations going through the whole visit.

I love Caspers! I’ve eaten here for years, but not since the new owners took over. Stopped in today and the only changes that have been made are great improvement in my opinion. You can now have a tasty beer and pay with debit or credit! Food is still the same, service hasn’t changed, they’ll still sit other people at your table if you have room. I highly recommend this greasy spoon to anyone that likes a hole in the wall experience.
